"We had an amazing experience with Dr. Hansard and her staff. She really listened to all of my concerns and got to the bottom of the issues and performed my surgery. She was very caring and held my hand as I was nervous when we got to the surgery room. We drove all the way from Georgia to be seen from her which was worth every bit of time and money. "I want to share a cautionary experience regarding Dr. Hansard and Texas Fertility Clinic. During my gestational carrier journey, I encountered instances of shaming, dehumanization, and potential medical incompetence. Dr. Hansard dismissed my severe reaction to hCG injections, and a procedure left me anxious about potential infection due to unsterile tools. A male doctor, unrequested, administered an uncomfortable pelvic exam, making inappropriate comments. Following a failed IVF transfer, Dr. Hansard suggested weight-loss shots, neglecting my history of body dysmorphia and eating disorders, and despite my healthy record. This experience caused profound emotional pain and estrangement from my family. I hope my story protects others from fatphobic treatment during vulnerable fertility journeys."

"I loved Lisa Hansard for the first procedure I utilized her expertise for & therefore sought her out when I needed a larger procedure. Unfortunately, she made my experience extremely stressful and traumatic. She burst into the surgery prep room yelling at the nurse, rushed everyone to get me ready for the procedure quickly & left me shaking with anxiety & in tears. She was upset about being behind schedule & acted as if we had done something wrong even though we were quite early for our checkin time & followed all prep procedures correctly. To top it all off, right before the procedure started she made disparaging & demeaning remarks about my husband & then (after I was already being administered anesthesia) she introduced me to someone else who would be "helping" & "learning" during my procedure even though I explicitly did NOT give permission to have anyone learning during my procedure. I woke up from the anesthesia in a panic due to the pent up emotions that occurred while I was in a helpless state. VERY traumatic experience."

"Dr. Hansard and her team has provided excellence service. Dr. Hansard was always on time and never had a long waiting time for the appointments. The team was always on top of everything and available for any questions via phone call or email. Dr. Hansard is also very caring and has great bed side manners. I remember during my surgery, I was so nervous and Dr. Hansard could tell. She quickly held my hand and chatted with me until I went under. I really appreciated that! Thanks to Dr. Hansard I can finally say that we are currently expecting after many years of trying. Her knowledge, expertise and experience sets her apart from others. She know's what she is doing!"
