Dr. Elisha Jackson

"There is not any parking after 8am, best to use the parking garage, vistor parking starts at the 4 floor. Dr. Jackson's name isn't on the Directory, so I had figure out which floor to go to. I never got new patient paperwork emailed to me, with this information ahead of time. Front desk staff was nice, I paid and was given a yellow lab sheet to wait for my name to be called by a nurse. The wait was less then 10 mins. Nurse Katerina/Caterina called my name was very stand offish, very abrupt when asking for the yellow sheet. I was then rushed into the back, I was told me get on the weighing scale, but she never show me where it was and until I asked where it was and she pointed at it ( never been to facility before). She was rushing me to get on the scale, but her attention was on other nursing staff who was having, what sounded, like a disagreement with another patient( elevated voices and multiple nurses gathered around assessing the situation), she was staring in direction of the incident, the whole time while taking my vitals. The nurse was so distracted she keep repeating questions she had asked me. The nurse asked me did I do the new patient paperwork, I said no, never got the email with these documents. The nurse seemed cantankerous by this omission. She rushed through taking my blood pressure and handed me a urine cup and told me the examination room number and led me to the restroom . After I was done, I took the urine cup to the exam room cover completely with multiple napkins, and the nurse badgered me for not putting it in metal medicine cabinet attached outside the restroom door. I told her you didnt give me instructions to do so. She stated she did and that I wasn't listening. The nurse then proceeds to ask questions, then when I started to answer them, she cuts me off by very curtly stating, the doctor will ask you them, so no need to ask them. The nurse then goes out into the hallway, was asked to conduct a procedure for another patient and she comes back in says she has to take care of another patient and she will be back. Then she comes back in a few minutes later abruptly and starts the ultrasound. Rushes through that and then leaves. I felt like more like an obstacle then a patient seeking medical help. Dr. Jackson was very professional and personable. Dr. Jackson asked me pertient questions, and with this line of questioning, Dr. Jackson deduced that I need to go to another provider and return to her if the other provider's evaluation suggests it. She gave me recommendations and a list to document my symptoms to give to the other provider as a frame of reference. Dr. Jackson was very helpful and sympathetic. Total time with the Dr. Jackson approximately 20 minutes. Total time spent in facility approximately 1 hour Overall, Dr. Jackson is good choice for a provider, but only through being recommended by another provider( this was heavily indicated by the nurse). Dr. Jackson's nursing staff at this facility, lacked professionalism and courtesy. And the nurses' actions is why I gave a a low rating."
