About the Business
KIPP Paseo Primary-My School is a vibrant primary school located at 6800 Metropolis Drive in Austin, Texas. Our institution is dedicated to providing a rigorous academic experience while nurturing the voices and stories of our students, both young and old.
Through a combination of challenging academics and joyful collaboration, we empower our students to develop the skills and habits necessary to lead a life of choice. We believe in the brilliance of each individual and strive to create a strong foundation in literacy to support overall academic growth.
At KIPP Paseo Primary, we offer a variety of elective classes known as Encore classes, where students can explore their passions and engage in collaborative projects. These classes incorporate elements of literacy, math, and science to build content knowledge and provide opportunities for students to practice their communication skills.
Our founding principal, Tara Hinton, brings over twenty years of experience in education and a passion for empowering students to succeed. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's in Instructional Leadership, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

"Horrible staff especially front office is not organized and lack of communication between all staff. Students relaying messages instead of calling parents to communicate correctly. Don't take your kids to this school it's been a nightmare having them here, especially curriculum seems to not be there focus."
