"The only people I’ll trust with my baby! I can’t say enough good things about Excel Academy Southlake. I went back to work when my daughter was almost one year. Before sending her to daycare, I researched, asked other local moms, narrowed down a list, and then interviewed facilities. The staff at Excel Academy made the choice easy. They interacted with my daughter, immediately connected with her and gave me time to answer all my questions. They allowed me to chat with another parent and see the entire facility which made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my sweet girl. Now, three months in, they have completely blown me away with my expectations of what daycare was vs what they give us. Their approach to childcare is thoughtful, passionate and well-researched. My daughter has grown so much by being around the staff and the other children. She’s finally picked up on the baby signs we had been modeling at home because they reinforce them there. The teachers in her room work with me on her feeding plan and keep me updated with any milestones they see her hitting. They have all kinds of activities I wouldn’t have thought of doing with a one-year-old. Age appropriate art, plenty of outside time and tons of books and songs. Their communication response time is amazing. Even outside of regular care, they feel like family. My daughter recently had some health issues and had to be hospitalized. They messaged us several times just to let us know how much they missed her and asking about her health. It felt so nice to know that the people who look after her every day were thinking about her even when she wasn’t there. It takes a village to raise a child and I’m so happy that I found these people to add to our village. If you’re considering Excel Academy Southlake as an option for daycare, stop your search now and just go for it. We love them. Special recognition to the Director Lisa, who is incredibly warm and thoughtful. And her teachers Mariyah and Kimberly, who my daughter loves. My child is a little reserved when it comes to choosing her people and she has made such a great connection with them."

"It’s hard for me to express what a blessing Excel Academy has been for our family. We found Lisa and her wonderful school after a horrific experience at a “premier” preschool in Southlake, where my then two-year-old was mistreated terribly and it was hidden from us by the school. I never thought I could leave my children with anyone again. Then my husband and I met Lisa and Monica. As soon as I walked in, I could feel the calm, warm energy of the building. What I love most about Excel is how personally Lisa and her team take it, from relationships with all the children- whether it is their teacher or not- to knowing all of the parents, to genuinely caring about the well-being of every child. It’s clear that for Lisa and her wonderful teachers, childcare and early education aren’t a business…they’re a passion. My oldest can be a lot. He is a very sweet, deeply feeling kid and what he went through at the prior school made him incredibly reactive and anxious. Over the last 6 months at Excel, I’ve watched his teachers pour into him, never treating him like a difficult child, only seeing what a wonderful boy he is. I’ve watched his joy return and he is truly blossoming. He adores his teachers, something I never thought I would see again. I can tell he feels safe, and we know every day that our boys are safe and loved. Our youngest is in Caterpillars, the infant room, and to see how loved he is by his teachers is heart-warming. Leaving your baby is hard, but leaving them in the arms of people who love them and care for them like their own makes it easier. On top of everything else, our boys are learning so much. The curriculum at Excel is somehow both advanced and age-appropriate at the same time. We just can’t say enough about Lisa and the Excel Family, or how grateful we are to have found them."

"Excel Academy is hands down THE BEST daycare I’ve been to, and I’ve had experiences with 4 different daycares in the area. I have a very spirited child and they worked hard with me to find ways to best handle some challenging situations and after attending this place for over year, my son is thriving! The teachers care immensely about their students. They have so many activities the kids do like soccer, chess, dance, karate, to name just a few. They communicate, they love kids, and I’m so deeply grateful to everyone there for helping us, and for providing a fun learning environment and a place I can feel good about bringing my son to. He’ll be going into kindergarten this fall and he when it comes up he says he’s sad and doesn’t want to leave Excel Academy. That says everything right there.
