"The Clariden School community has been instrumental in helping my daughter develop to her fullest potential, not just academically, but also socially and physically. My daughter loves Mrs. Myers and the warm classroom family, and is actually disappointed on weekends when she doesn't get to go to school when she wakes up! In the Cougar Prep Pre-school, she has enjoyed lots of indoor and outdoor play-based learning, where she has learned to cooperate with classmates, practiced being in leadership roles, and used tons of imagination, all while getting the movement that her growing body needs to be healthy. The project-based academic program teaches math and literacy skills in such an authentic way, my daughter didn't even realize she had become a reader until I pointed out to her that she was reading and writing real words. I work in the field of education and see schools across the country striving to achieve what The Clariden School does so well. We are so blessed to have this school so close to home."

"We've had our child at Clariden since 2011. We choose to return every year because we love the supportive environment. It provides our child with constant opportunities to explore topics in-depth and hands-on with technology, field study and team project work which really brings the subjects to life in a way I wish was available when we were growing up. Small classes and amazing teachers (thank you Ms. Gibson & Ms. Todd) create a community where the kids are kind, confident and help mentor one another. Ms. Wells - head of school - is a remarkable, energetic presence in the school. Not only is she dedicated to delivering innovative and engaging curriculum (the students can't wait for the "big reveal" each year for next year's projects, competitions & travel), but she's also genuinely dedicated to knowing each student and helping them find & use their voice to advocate for what they need. I get asked all the time about why we choose private school when we live in a good school district. My answer is easy -- the caliber of the curriculum has students constantly challenged to reach beyond their grade level, to innovate, problem solve, and develop critical thinking; to develop the confidence to actively collaborate in team projects, to know themselves and how to gain mastery and communicate that knowledge in ways that many adults can't; in essence: to be academically prepared AND mature enough in their own self confidence to succeed in college and the innovation research & development careers ahead of them."
