I have been growing my locs for 9 years and have struggled to find a loctitian in the Midwest to take care of my crown. I am originally from Georgia and have been living in the Midwest for 2 and a half years. Mrs. Alva and I scheduled a consult where she saw my locs and was excited to nurture my hair. She carved out her Saturday because of how many locs I have and took the most care of her time in my hair. I left my appointment on Saturday January 13 feeling like a QUEEN!! She retwisted my hair and educated me on how to care for my locs in between services. I booked my appointment while still in her presence.
