"Went in for a silk press. Got a protein treatment also. $150 just to have my hair smelling burned. Went home and washed it a week later and my 4b natural curls are not coming back. Called the stylist (Rita) to see if she would make it right. Went back in. Nothing but excuses. She says my “hair NEVER had curls”and my hair “only has a little damage at the front” then “What do you want me to do about it”? Went to my old stylist and they confirmed all my hair is dead. This is a wig salon at best but not for natural hair. Dont get me started on the uneven layered haircut."
"I'm new to the area and was looking for a hair stylist. I'm so glad I found Rita at Sira. She is professional, skilled, fast, kind, and fun. She cut and colored my hair exactly how I wanted and was able to cut my hair in the natural state vs. straightening it first - which is my preference. I plan to come back next time!"
"My experience here was so horrible that I left after my half shampoo job, and horrible haircut. The way the stylist handle my 4C hair all I kept saying to myself was this cannot be real. The worst part is I was referred to this salon by one of their other clients. However, after leaving there I went to a barber to fix my haircut and consulted with a caring, kind and professional stylist who will fix my hair. I hope who ever goes here have a better experience then I did."
"I’d say this place is pretty unprofessional. As soon as I walked in one of the stylus laughed at me, I’m guessing it’s because I have a huge Afro, and it’s literally all over the place right now. I scheduled an appointment and because I scheduled it the same day it was supposedly meant to get either approved or denied. Nowhere in the policy states that same day appointments are subject to being denied. Also, why have the available appointment time open for booking online if you weren’t actually available? I remember my first and only time getting my hair done here—it was after I had taken some individual braids out. The stylist over-shampooed my hair leaving it extremely stripped and throughout the styling spoke negatively about how thick and nappy my hair is. Unprofessional, definitely will never book here again."
