"A lovely little record store right in the heart of downtown. I wasn't expecting them to have much of a selection but was surprised at some of the finds they had and the reasonable prices for less popular artists and albums. There's also a small selection of CDs, DVDs and cassette tapes in the back. Some of the more popular and sought after albums can be expensive, but getting those earlier pressings when everything was still fully analog is worth it if the vinyl is in good condition. Modern reproductions just don't sound the same! Overall a really interesting find. It's also connected to the neat little bookstore next door so you can wander around quite a bit and find your next treasure, whether it's music or a story."
"I've known Lippy since I was a kid and it's always a treat to come down and visit him at the store. I'm always astonished by his ability to conjure up some story about literally any record I pull from a crate. Go in and strike up a conversation; you won't be disappointed :)"
"Such a welcoming environment and greatest finds at Astro Record Store! Has an amazing collection and great prices! The owner “Lippy” made it even more of an amazing experience!! He’s truly one of the kindest people ever & great humor! He’s amazing to ask for recs and help what you’re looking for! I’ve been trying to find a certain The Allman Brothers & Orleans album and he had them! Out of all records stores I’ve been to this one is 10/10!
