"If you are taking the policy be aware they fool you. This is nothing but scam company. When I called salesperson Terresa, she was talking nice and convinced me for policy, but actually try to claim something, customer service person said Kitchen sink does not cover in this policy. It's irritating when problem comes and warranty company not supporting you and deny the claim. Can we sue such type of company?"

"It has now been almost 5 weeks since I called for service because my hot water heater has no hot water....no calls no/follow up no SERVICE... I put in a claim on Dec 27th and it is now Feb 5th-still noone has showed up-I have called HSC repeatedly and so far no service, runaround-DO NOT GET THIS WARRANTY! I will cancel the warranty service as of 2/6/2023!! Went with American Home Shield."

"My air conditioner went out in the middle of the summer, several weeks ago. I immediately made a claim on The Home Service Club's website. I received an automated reply telling me they couldn't find a technician who could come to fix it, and recommended I find a company and schedule an appointment on my own. I was hesitant, so I gave them another several days to find someone, since going the 'reimbursement' route, made me suspect I was not actually going to be reimbursed. After a week with my air conditioned still broken, and having watched countless YouTube videos, to attempt to learn how to fix it myself, I finally agreed to go the reimbursement route. After 10 minutes, I had someone scheduled to come out the next day. The technician came out, took one look at my air conditioner and said, because of the age of the unit, and the fact that the type of refrigerant it uses is BANNED in the entire country, he will not make any repairs, as the liability is too high for his company. He submitted the information to The Home Service Club, and within 15 minutes, an automate response was sent explaining how they won't cover it, and their explanation clearly showed me that they didn't understand the issue. They offered for me to make an appeal, which I did, and said I'd hear from someone within 24 hours, which I did not.... The issues with my air conditioner was a direct result of normal wear and tear. It explicitly says in my contract with The Home Service Club, that "normal wear and tear" is covered. Yet, they are fighting me to cover it, and I can't seem to get anyone to respond to me. Keep in mind that this is Texas, in the summer, and it is hitting over 100 degrees, almost every day. As of right now, I would HIGHLY recommend not signing up with this company. I feel like the money I spent on this warranty was money wasted."

"So my filter on my pole broke obviously you guys can see it with the picture I’m posting they want to send a man out that I have to pay $95 plus he’s charge me $100 an hour when I could just buy a new one and screw the thing on myself I don’t need anyone to come out they will not cover any of this. this filter I bought a brand new one it cost 1300… !!Once I got hold of a manager her name was Gabriella very nice she let me use my own pool service who charge me half the price When something else happened to my pool earlier this year!! Plus my sink was leaking I needed someone to come out as soon as possible and they have someone coming out a week later when baker brothers who is associated with them could come out the same day . I gave them an invoice and they do not want to cover it this doesn’t make no sense I’ve use the… I hate this taking money"

"10 years ago when we first moved into our house, Home Service Club was recommended to us. I called and checked up on them and they seemed to be the best. We took the policy right away and we've been renewing it ever since. Submitting a claim has been very efficient. They get somebody out to the house right away and they could fix it. In the first visit, they would come out with the right kind of part and I've been very satisfied. That's why I continue to deal with them. They are efficient and competent."
