"Apparent Insurance loves to talk about how they have your back and are “one of us”, but they absolutely do not stand by that. During COVID when I was a brand new mother of twins we had to decide to between lights and paying car insurance.. of course we chose lights. The $146 went to collections, which I understand. I did the right thing once we were back on our feet and paid my collection. Now apparent is refusing to take the collections off my credit. They are choosing to ruin our credit over $146 during the hardship that we all faced of the pandemic. Do not pay your collects with them, they PUNISH you for doing the right thing"
