"-tried to check my account online. Couldn’t get past sign in. Isn’t accepting pw. -spent hours because I needed information for taxes! *Other concerns… - I Can see on my bank statements that the money is still being withdrawn. - In 2022 implants were put in so I don’t need general dentistry. Got statement saying I didn’t use over $2000. ( which I can’t find now. ) Which you must have kept. Could it be applied to 2024? -Lastly , my eye doctor no longer takes your eye insurance. -Why it so hard to find information on your website? - Can you please help me!? Any advice?"

"SHORT VERSION: Contacted AMBA about benefits available to me as I’ve had their vision insurance in the past and was happy with it. A benefits associate called me twice but I was driving each time and couldn’t talk. The benefits associate then showed up on my doorstep totally unannounced…no text, no call…just showed up out of the blue. Said he thought he’d just drop by. I was on a virtual with my health care professional at the time. It was frustrating and embarrassing to have to interrupt our virtual appointment. Very unprofessional behavior from a company rep. Update: Received a call and apology from the district manager this afternoon. He seemed sincere and I’m glad he’ll be addressing this issue with all of his staff."

"I called and cancelled my policy months ago and you still are sending requests for payments through my bank causing over drafts of $30.00 dollars every time you do. When I call to talk to you about this I am rolled over to a waiting line with pleasant music but no help- no person to talk to. Whats the f-g deal?"

"We have had this insurance for numerous years through the Texas Teacher Retirement System, and we decided to cancel. We canceled July 1st, and they charged us for July and August. We called AMBA to inquire about the charge and the representative said they would probably not reimburse us for July but did not see a reason why we would not be reimbursed for August. We waited several weeks for a reimbursement, and it never happened. We called again on September 21 and the representative said it was not approved. We asked to speak to a supervisor. She said a supervisor would get back to us within two days. After almost a week and a half, nobody had called us, so we called again. The gentleman said we were given the wrong information by the first person who was a trainee and was no longer there. Therefore, our case was closed. We were told we were to receive a reimbursement for August and we are very upset that your organization has refused to be professional and uphold what you originally confirmed in this situation."

"AMBA truly cares about the Retirees associated with their State and Educational Programs. After reading the comments posted here , I reminded myself that happy people hardly ever take the time to comment, but unhappy people will definitely speak their minds. It’s to my understanding that people on the calling lists are either retired or actively working for the State or School systems… and that’s where the lists come from. AMBA has an exclusive partnership with every state and education system. If a person is not an association member, most likely someone referred them, otherwise they would not have their name and numbers. A+ rated insurance companies have partnered with AMBA to provide valuable benefits for retirees as they grow older and need assistance in their homes . Most of our children and grandchildren these days have to work and could not stay with us full time if we needed some help at home. Their benefit packages are well planned for retirees with limited savings and pensions. I have never heard anyone complain about the dental and vision until I read some of these posts. When I ask people about their benefits they are always positive and have no complaints. AMBA is on a mission to rescue retirees from out living their resources and make sure they are in a position to pay someone to help them when and if that time comes.
