"We had a nightmare of an experience with my mom’s medications that were lost at DFW airport during her flight here. My sister and I worked with her insurance and Puerto Rico and with Roy Davidson at Walmart Pharmacy in Waxahachie and we were able to get a 3 day emergency prescription and then finally fill her prescription. Roy is a gem of a human being. We were both frantic about my mom not having her heart medications. Roy worked tirelessly to help us and was calm and kind and offered alternatives. We are more than grateful for his help!"

"I've been getting prescriptions filled here for about a year and there are probably only two times in that year that everything went as it should have and without some sort of drama or failure. Some of the common problems... - Long wait times and it takes longer than other pharmacies to get a refill (generally at least 2 days when you call ahead). - They frequently don't meet their own stated time frames for when a prescription will be ready. - If your prescription needs a refill approved by your doctor, their system is not smart enough to recognize that the approval has come in and it's now time to refill the prescription. Instead, the customer needs to call back after they think the doctor may have approved the refill...and request the refill again in order for it to actually get filled. Otherwise, when you show up to pick it up, they won't even see an order for you. You'll have to go stand in a second line to request the refill and the fastest they'll be able to do so in the same day is about 45 minutes. They'll say 45 minutes, but it will really be at least an hour. - Refills ordered over the phone system somehow just disappear into nothingness and never get filled. You get to go to a second line and request it and then wait for an hour in the store for it to get filled. Why even call ahead? - They are inconsistent with filling prescriptions for 90 days rather than 30 days. The prescriptions I have are for 90 day refills and my insurance allows this. There are several times I've received 90 day refills, but most often, they give me a 30 day refill which means I need to deal with their inefficiencies more frequently. This has even happened after speaking to a person who confirmed that they would do a 90-day refill. When I picked it up, it was just a 30-day. - The pharmacist is too aggressive with selling flu shots...to the point of possibly violating the Deceptive Trade and Practices Act of Texas. I have a right to decline a flu shot and should not be treated like I'm an idiot when I do so. When he then laughs at my polite decline and loudly says "So you want to get sick?" He's implying that getting the flu shot will prevent me from getting sick. There is no medical guarantee of this. He is also potentially violating my privacy. Finally, this week, they made me so mad that I've transferred my prescriptions elsewhere, will never return to them, and came here to write this review. My doctor wrote a prescription in November 2018 that had enough refills to last through November 2019. However, when they filled my prescription at the end of December, the label said "No Refills." So, when I called to get a refill this month, they said that they would need to get the doctor's approval. Fine. I know from experience that this means I need to call back the next day to request the refill again because they don't have anything that prompts them to actually process the refill once they get doctor's approval. For several days, I kept calling back and I kept getting the same response...you are out of refills. Thinking that my doctor was just ignoring them, I messaged her staff and asked that they approve the refill request. They responded that the original prescription was for a year and that no refills should be needed. They called the pharmacy and the pharmacy said something to the effect of "Oh...we haven't said that we need approval for refills...we've been telling her that her insurance isn't ready to approve the refill." That's BS. So, I sent a picture of the last prescription bottle clearly stating "No refills" and told my doctor's office that the pharmacy is making false statements to them. The next day, I called the pharmacy to order the refill that they told my doctor I would be able to order that day. Again, they told me that I had no refills and they would need to get approval from my doctor! At this point, I've had enough and instructed my doctor to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Good luck if you decide to use this pharmacy. If I could give it less stars and still leave a review, I would."

"If anything they may deserve one star!!! I have had so many bad experiences with this pharmacy, but have never written a bad review until now. Once again today my prescription was not ready because they entered wrong insurance info, but it has been so many other things... Wal-Mart really needs to get it together, please hire professional people who know what their doing!!!"

"I turned in my prescription today around 3:45pm. After the tech took all my information (including my phone#), she informed me that my prescription would be ready in 1hr. At 6:15, while attempting to pickdup my prescription, i was told that they did not have that medication in in stock and would bot have it till Friday. So please, tell me this; why did i not receive a phone call informing me of this?!?! Round trip 30 miles only to be treated rudely by your tech and walking out without my meds!!! Very Unprofessional, Inconsiderate, and Rude!!!!"
