Motel 6 Waxahachie, TX

"Rooms were small and dirty getting towels were impossible room smelled of cat urine from the room next door they had cats. I told the front desk and they handed me fabreeze I had to keep the door open to let the room air out. Needless to say we checked out 2 days early they would not switch me rooms was there for work I work 84 hours a week and needed sleep and it was to noisy and smelly went to another hotel they would not refund me the 2 days either."

"This place was filthy. When I walked across the floor to go to the restroom at night, my feet turned black. Horrible odors. Outside light shined in room all night. Towels were tiny and threadbare."

"The rooms are ok the bathroom had black mold in it. Which is very dangerous around my 1 year old child when we came into the room on the first day the black thing under clothes hanger was broken and looked like it had just been set up to look nice which could have also cut my 1 year old if he would’ve seen it before I did the service is horrible the people can be very rude I wouldn’t stay here if you have better options not to mention the walls look like they haven’t been cleaned in decade"

"The inside and outside of the hotel weren't very clean There was at least half an inch to an inch thick of dust, cobwebs, and spider webs, especially outside. It is one of my biggest fears is Spiders And it was like hell on Earth. Every nook cranny and corner outside, even going up and down the stairs. Looked like it hadn't been. Cleaned in at least 10-plus years when you go out to get ice from the ice machine. The Vents and filter were coated in a layer of dust and debris, the rooms were pretty clean considering. But in the bathroom where there's the ventilation is, It was covered and thick dust and debris. And there are so many birds nests. Mixed with the cobwebs outside and the spiders everywhere. It is virtually all over that Is property outside at least over 50% of it? And believe it or not, on the This weekend, Friday and Saturday and Sunday. They charge a $125 for 1 nightmare. You can pay that much to stay at a 4 star hotel. Even the Hilton for that price. This motel is not worth it, especially on the weekends. And the service at the front counter. They're not very friendly and they're kind of rude. They don't seem like they like Americans much. So I wouldn't recommend. This place unless you've been driving for a long time. And you don't want to fall asleep behind the wheel. Others in that go next door. To the super 8."

"I stayed here 4 nights and I really enjoyed my stay. Police creeps by to make sure there is no funny business. Ample cameras. Good mixture of people staying. People acting like grown ups! Nice clean room with plenty of air, hot showers, clean pool (must be out by 10 pm. Should extend to 11 pm on weekends). Did not experience any bed bugs or other critters. Staff was helpful. Made sure not to disturb if you did want to be. Quiet location. Food within 7-10 away. Overall, a very pleasant stay! Will be back!❤️"
