"Do not recommend. Terrible location to start with along with horrible parking. On the day of my visit the office was only manned by the “dr.” I was rushed through his under 10 min explanation of his treatment plans. He was more concerned with getting my insurance information so that they could be sure to bill for the sub par service. There are plenty of options in this field, look elsewhere for treatment."

"I trained MMA daily for over 8 years and I was in massive amounts of pain from all the reoccurring injuries. The past 4 years I’ve tried every form of Accupuncture, massage, multiple chiropractors and a few other forms of odd treatment. They only brought temporary relief. None of the treatments seemed to directly target the pain area like Dr. Atencio did. I felt instant relief within the first session and it steadily improved over the following weeks. Words can’t describe how good my back feels now. When I first viewed the MRI it looked so bad I didn’t think my spine could be helped. I started the therapy and eventually had two stem cell injections to the worst disks. The procedure was quick and easy. It took only a few days for me to notice the results. My back feels better than it has in years. The bulging vertebrae is no longer visible on my spine. I have no more chronic pain, depression or lack of interest to do things. I am back to my old self again, happy and healthy. Thank you so much! I cannot recommend this Dr enough. He turned my life around."

"I have been dealing with sciatic nerve pain for over 9 months. Went to two other pain specialists plus had 3 months physical therapy. After an MRI and continued pain and many sleepless nights I found Texas Spine and Sports Therapy. Like the old adage says third times a charm! Jonathan was honest and straightforward with me. Which is all I ask of any practitioner. After reviewing my MRI he suggested therapy twice a week, consisting of The classic IV hot laser along with the decompression table and physical therapy Bianca , my physical therapist is also amazing . Her vibrant personality is infectious and makes therapy fun! Bianca personalizes your therapy according to your body’s needs. It’s not a cookie cutter therapy. I’ve been going to Texas spine for almost two months and the progress in my healing process has been phenomenal. If you want one on one personal therapy with results I would highly recommend Texas spine and Sports therapy"

"I have been seeing Dr. Shaner and Bianca for issues with degenerative vertebrae and sciatica. After eleven sessions, I’ve really noticed an improvement in my posture, muscle strength and stamina to support my spine. I’m encouraged by the results so far. When I’ve worked with other doctors and physical therapists in the past, I often ended my treatments because I could not feel any improvement. With Dr. Shaner and Bianca, they are attentive and ask all the right questions. The improvements I’m experiencing now have me committed to sticking with their course of treatments for as long as I can."

"I started with spinal decompression therapy many years ago. I had PT, Laser and stretching exercises but nothing helped as completely and as effortlessly as maintaining a schedule of decompression to address pain and limitations. I think even those without back issues would benefit from this. In any case I was able to work and live essentially pain free for over a decade before electing surgery. Then after, I’m completely pain free by maintaining a one-time, monthly session to stay strong. I wholeheartedly recommend this inexpensive therapy that requires no medicine, and also Texas Spine and Sports Therapy which has helped me continue my active life."
