"Great place great employees great ambiance! In my humble opinion the best eatery in Pekin. Have had this place at least 5 times and personally is difficult for me to order anything but the tenderloin but have witnessed many menu items from my dining companions. This place is truly a work of art when it comes to dining. And as an added incentive to try this place they have an extensive top shelf stock in their bar."

"If you love a Reuben sandwich with fork tender, juicy meat with a kick, head to Asher’s. The sandwich is piled high with meat and has their famous candid bacon sprinkled in along with a generous slice of melted Swiss cheese and sauerkraut, all served on toasted marbled rye bread. It is a generous sandwich and I ended up taking half home. For the Rueben, a pony tenderloin, a side of their cheesy bacon fries and side of tator tots and a coffee, our bill was $42 with 20% tip. We found on street parking close by but did not see handicapped parking."

"So first time going to Ashers, and we were focused on their tenderloins. We got there shortly after they opened on a Sunday and were greeted and seated promptly by a friendly hostess. Our pleasant waitress was quick to get our drinks and take our order. We started with the Haystack onions, they looked wonderful and had great potential, but they were incredibly salty. They could have cut the salt in half and probably been perfect. We each got a half order of the tenderloin. They were good to look at, a tad thinner than I like but certainly doable. They had been cooked perfectly and had a little bit of buttery flavor to them, but that's where the flavor kind of stopped. A little disappointing. They come with hand cut fries, which I'm not typically a fan of, but they were pretty good. We both agreed that we would go back but try something different."
