"Went today and was so glad I did! As someone who has limited mobility the assistance I received was OVER THE TOP! The Swansea Schnucks is my Schnucks and I’ve only been shopping here nearly 16 yrs. However today I was very thankful and moved by the kindness of their employees! All of them are great but 2 went above and beyond! Thank you to the lady in the deli who assisted me with a rotisserie chicken. And to the lady at registers who met me at my register to change out my dying motorized cart! You made my shopping and day enjoyable! You guys ROCK!"

"Still a good store, but seems to have gotten busier with the closure of Ruler Foods and long lines at the Schuncks stores at the other locations on the West-End and Carlyle. Checkout line seems to build up quickly especially during peak hours, but still moves quickly due to having more checkers at a time then some other locations. Staff very friendly and acknowledges regulars, and some will go the extra mile to help you out if needed. discrete out of the way 'room' for Instacart shoppers is a big plus making it easier for those doing in-store Instacart orders as they don't have to partially block traffic while staging their curbside orders as they have to in some more cramped stores. Several employees wear masks during high respiratory virus season/activity or when sick, but not enough to call off. Nice to see employees caring about other customers and coworkers. All in all still a great store with knowledgeable and caring staff! Supply chain issues still plague from time to time, so occasionally there is still items that have been out of stock for weeks or longer, but that's more fault of corporate or wider global supply issues rather then the store itself."

"I bought three thanksgiving dinners one ham and two turkeys with sides. The sides stated they fed 8-10 people and the trays are so small that only two people could eat off of one side. With only three sides coming with a turkey meal. I paid $230 for a prepared meal with three party platters which I ended up going back to by my own sides and spending over a $100 extra dollars. I highly recommend NOT purchasing a party platter unless you are feeding a small group. This was not worth the money or desire! Very disappointed for the money spent!"

"This Is the Swansea Illinois Store, 1st I ordered my Groceries Last Night Curb Side Pick Up Scheduled for 8am, got a Text Message, Pick Up ready Earlier At 7:55 Arrived at Store, Parked let them know Via Text that I Parked, Was Told Via Text I would have to go Inside the Store to Pick up my Groceries, because there was No One available to bring them to My Car!!! Asked who was the Store Manager, She told Me who the Person Was, Asked to Speak to that Person, She said that the Person was Off!!! (WOW)….then I asked for the Manager on Duty……BLAH…BLAH…He Blamed Instacart…….anyway I get Home, thought my Ordeal was Over…..No took a Picture of the Celery I Purchased, I called Schnucks……The Same Manager on Duty, He told Me to Call Instacart……..BLAH BLAH….Where Do Stores Find Employees Like This!!!……The Celery Was From This STORE !!!………Instacart/Schnuck’s !!!! Do Better You Must Do Better!!! Will Not Shop There Again !!! Also Will Cancel Instacart !!!"

"20230908 came to pick up some St Louis hot sauce and so happy I found it! My friends will be happy, and I can't wait to try it. I asked an employee where the hot sauce is, and he has a general idea where it is, and was so nice to help me find it."
