"the employees at the Schaumburg location catch an attitude when you make a return without exchanging, when I do try to shop in store, they make you feel uncomfortable by hovering, and ask too many questions, so I usually leave empty handed and order the same merchandise online"

"The employees at this store are VERY rude and pushy!! As I was trying things on in the fitting rooms, I couldn't even be alone for 5 minutes without an employee bothering me and suggesting a piece of clothing that I didn't ask for!!! I get it, you want my money, but that isn't how you show it. It just made me lose interest in making a purchase from this store. This business is clearly money hungry. Also the girl who greeted me as I walked in wouldn't leave me alone. I've been to this Aerie a few times and they always have someone greeting you which is very annoying because they just follow you around and tell you about the promotions when there's a sign out front that says what they are. I CAN read. I don't need you to tell me. They are extremely annoying here!!! The manager seemed pretty pushy as well and would not leave me alone. Let us shop in peace!!!!!! Also I am NOT interested in your credit card."

"I am not one to leave a negative review,(in fact I don’t know that I ever have) and especially not during the holiday season, but as someone who spends thousands of dollars at AE/Aerie every single year this experience was deplorable. I came in hoping to exchange and/or return a bra. they were super helpful with allowing me to try it on in a different size, as I shared I had recently lost 50+ pounds and the size I bought online didn’t fit, but I needed to know what size to buy in the future. They didn’t have the size and color I needed nor was it available online, so I opted to return. I was not nasty or mean as I understand that it’s the holidays and things may be sold out. I thanked them repeatedly for their assistance but you would have thought I had swore in church. They immediately stopped being any sort of helpful when they determined I wasn’t interested in making a purchase and were rude, abrupt, and stern for the entire rest of my experience processing my return. I work retail and if I couldn’t help someone because of something my store didn’t carry, I would feel incredibly guilty. It’s not MY fault they couldn’t help me, not to mention I am a loyal customer who again, spends thousands of dollars at their company every year. I was incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the entire experience. I will be shopping online or at the Deer Park location instead and I encourage you to do the same."

"No body welcome me when I walk in the store. But when two white girls walking in, a girl immediately says welcome guys. I feel very uncomfortable to be treated differently. Will never come in this store to buy any stuff."
