It seems like your job is to terrorize employees—from what I've heard from former employees, you're simply another man whose legacy will be something like "I'm glad he's gone, let's throw a party." No wonder I can never find any help when I go in there. Taking my business elsewhere"

"This is the only big-box hardware store in Woodstock. I’ve spent quite a bit of money on various projects, including building out my store front. I do not like the rebate games. I feel like I should just be able to get the lowest price if they are able to offer it one way or another. I’ve grown used to the store layout, though I find it very frustrating that the only desk for customer service is at the entrance and no other nearby the registers. Their online pickup is also lacking, as Menards feels the need to have to confirm the pickup at the counter and then receipt check you on the way out as if they are assuming you have just stolen those items. Lastly, their tap-to-pay forces you to enter pin, which does not make me feel safe as a consumer."

"Tonite I came to buy a window and some j channel for aluminum siding. Got the window,couldn't find the other stuff,or an employee to help me for a while. Ased 1 employee they said it's out side somewhere. That's it,go look in the dark. Was he busy? No,talking to another coworker. Went to the front desk is there a map no,can someone help me? Someone is out there. 20 min later I find that someone who says did they say where it was? Cas idk. Never again will this menards get my money. Would give zero stars if I could for customer service."

"Ok, this sounds like a employee issue. I just called looking for something that is not normally stocked. I asked if it is available at any other local Menard’s. The response I got back was that they are too busy working and don’t have the luxury of walking around other stores. I was hoping that they could at least check inventory on their computers at other stores like they have done in the past. Thanks for your response. I called the Crystal Lake store and they were able to help me."

"I give them 3 stars for the overall store's convenience. I shop here for building materials All the time and find that it's really rare to meet a knowledgeable staff member. Nobody is hardly ever in their departments Or the store is just understaffed."
