"Avoid the headache! Came out to fix my dryer and in the process, accidentally broke my washer door. I understand things happen but they did nothing to render the situation. The owner said he would come back the next day between 1:30-5 and never ended up coming out. Next day he claims he was too busy with other calls when we should have been priority since they broke our washer that we could not use. Following day he said he couldn’t make it out either and would drop off some money for our troubles. NEVER SHOWED. I couldn’t believe this was happening. Never have I seen/experienced such unprofessionalism! 2 days later he finally answered our calls with a bunch of excuses. We just ended up ordering the new part ourself and fixing our own washer. You try to help out local, small businesses, especially these days but then you get service like this. And this is not the first time I’m hearing of similar situations. So stay clear of this place! You’ll thank me later!"

"We purchase a high end speed queen washer 7 years ago. The service and warranty was good for the warranty period of 5 years, but now need to pay for service. Not very responsive to schedule and once scheduled appointment, they were two hours late. I called and they still hadn't left store yet. I expected better from the brand...bearing going out in 7 years, Ican live with that, but rusting exterior, not so much."

"Not sure what to think. Walked in, saw a range I thought was okay, an employee walked up said excuse me, took a photo of the serial number plate. Took off the price tag and walked away. Just left me standing there. Must have been a bad day."

"Our washing machine broke down for the last time. I found the big box stores only wanted to drive you online to complete a purchase (and hunt for a store that has the machine in stock) and were unable to respond quickly to our need for delivery of a new machine. We decided on an American-made brand and Thompson was listed as a dealer. They provided forthright, knowledgeable responses to my questions--no shady hidden fees or upselling. They happened to have the machine I wanted in stock, and delivered the same day. I recommend using this independent business for their expertise and service. Update 11/24: The Speed Queen washing machine we chose has performed exceptionally well since the installation a little over a month ago. During this time we experienced a very heavy laundry load with guests in the house, and the new machine is a champ. The TC5 series is built with all the robust quality and performance of the Speed Queens of old. Using the heavy duty cycle, clothes come out completely rinsed of soap, clean, and spun thoroughly. Our dryer time has shortened 20 minutes because of the better spin action compared to our old machine. Very pleased with this purchase and the dealer."

"Was very disappointed in customer service! Wish I would have read the reviews first instead of shopping local! The first guy I had no idea how to install a dishwasher jammed it in there installed improperly left it that way! Always 2-3 hours late when they say they were going to be here! The third attempt when the owner was going to come back and install it properly he tried to blow us off saying he had another appointment! Obviously did not care about this customer! Told him I wanted a refund come and get it! Went to Home Depot got the same exact thing for a few hundred dollars cheaper! So buyers beware ! Very disappointed in the service!"
