"I travel for work all over Illinois and always like going to these local diners and The Golden Pancake House didn’t disappoint. Kaylee was our server and she was great,wasn’t pushy at all gave us time to look at the menu and everything she brought out was perfect. She also checked in on us from time to time no rushing. Atmosphere was pretty cool there was a bunch of locals eating and it felt very homey. Thanks guys for the great service and delicious food and thanks again to Kaylee she did great."

"My wife and I eat here at least once a week. We are always greeted with a smile. The food is excellent. Most of the time, we have to get a container because they give you plenty to eat. Go there on a Friday for all you can eat catfish. You won't regret it."

"Great experience this morning. Was a nice end to our vacation. Ten of us were seated very quickly. We got lucky with timing. Food came out hot and was delicious. Spinach & mushroom omelet was fantastic. Husband had homestyle slammer and loved it. Huge portions for the price. Also recommend pancakes. Cheap weekday specials too."
