"I thought this was a great place to live until I left. I own several rental properties so I am aware of the laws regarding charges upon move out. Things like touch up paint and general carpet cleaning are items that land lords are not supposed to charge for upon moving out, yet they did. I have pictures to prove that there were no stains and the carpet was in excellent condition as well as the walls. I left the place in move in ready condition and even fixed several things like cracked outlet covers that were broken upon my move in. There were scratches on the stainless steel freezer door (that were there upon move in) and they charged me to replace the entire fridge/freezer. Every window sill, cupboard, drawer was wiped clean. Every nail hole was filled. Walls were wiped clean with the exception of a few scuff marks that would not come off without removing the paint yet they charged me $880!!!!! The last apartment I left they did the walk through with the tenant upon leaving and told me it was the cleanest apartment they had ever seen! I can’t imagine how Cushman & Wake and Williamson at the Overlook are robbing most people knowing that most people will not want the hassle of small claims court. I know I left that place better than 99% of people yet I was still charged $880! It was very disappointing!!!!!!"
