"Chicken was bloody. Lemon pie was watery and had literally no crust. When I asked about it, the waitress just said, " we get a lot of complaints about that. The juice from the lemon filling sort of dissolves the crust." The pie was also just a pile of filling with some mereinge on top. Looked like it had been scooped out of a bowl.When I showedour waitress the chicken, she just asked if I wanted a box for it. Picture doesn't show it, but it had blood dripping out of the center. We turned around on the highway because of the sign and the reviews. Not worth it."

"What a treat to have found blue Springs Café. There are no signs on 70 indicating that food is available. I don't know why I decided to pull off. Also, the restaurant is down in a pocket of the intersection to the south as you exit the highway. I feel like I stepped into a time machine from 30 years ago. Inside the restaurant is very cute, country Café. As you enter the door, you were immediately greeted first buy these ginormous gorgeous pies. We didn't have room for any, but it looks absolutely fabulous. Diner is pristine, clean and the service is excellent. Food was perfectly prepared. The green beans even had some nice chunks of salt pork. Wonderful mashed potatoes, and gravy. Fried cod tasty. And our Server Brett was great."
"Came for pie and coffee and had to order a meal after seeing other plates! First off, the pie was very good. The food is family style with helpings of biscuits, beets, and slaw while you're waiting for your shareable sides of green beans, real mashed potatoes and white gravy. The chicken and dumplings were excellent. So much comfort food! Very pleased by fast service. The only downside is that it is cash only."
