"Pros: We have seen several doctors at the clinic and they are all fantastic - Dr. Kimble, Dr. Thomas, and most recently Dr. Bell. Usually they are running on time and the wait is minimal. The nurses and other staff are friendly and work well with children. The people are truly why we keep coming back! Cons: The parking situation is not great. Often we have to circle the parking lot and end up parking off property and walking. The rooms also seem a bit dated and maybe due for a deep clean."

"Good doctors but parking has been horrendous and you got this guy in the cream colored Kia soul booting vehicles who are basically forced to park in a hash zone. Why in the world has parking gotten so bad here recently!?!? I feel like they're parking a bunch of fake cars here so that they can get cars, tickets and or booted"

"Dr. Quillin built an amazing practice that was purchased by UTMB and run into the ground. This is a horrible place. Their administrators and nurses are incompetent. I wasn't impressed with any of the new doctors; they're just "good enough" for when a doctor is absolutely necessary. Avoid UTMB affiliated practices altogether if you can help it. Their corporation purchases so many private practices, that can be difficult at times. For your health and the health of your children, avoid them."

"This office is all about money and not actual medical care. They are insisting we make an appointment for every little thing, even just to renew an order they already called in that expired. It now takes 2-3 appointment visits (and their applicable costs) to even begin to address the actual issue you're concerned about, and they're not even trying to hide the fact that this new runaround is to make additional money from parents. When they did this before, I just went around them and got the services my child needed through a different office that did not require jumping through so many cost-incurring hoops. When I had to call them again, this time to redo what they'd already done, and they tried to make additional money from me in the form of an additional and unnecessary office visit, I realized I will not be returning. When I called and spoke to a nurse about this (Rita) she seemed more interested in trying to catch me in a "gotcha" moment (by trying to accuse me of having already called about the issue, which I had not) than she did in trying to help me secure a service for my child. A service, mind you, that they'd already deemed necessary and had already referred me for. We had thought that we'd be with this office for a long time, at least until our children no longer needed pediatric services, because the doctors we've seen - Dr. Goldberg, as well as another doctor that either left or retired - are and were wonderful. But that is no longer the case, and we have decided to move on. Even though we had been happy with this office for a long time, between the obvious money grab appointments and the long hold and wait times now that there are no direct calls allowed, we will just move on to a different pediatrician office. Having read the other reviews that talk about how expensive visits have become, we are especially grateful that we didn't fall for the okey-doke and make the unnecessary appointments they tried to get us to make. By going elsewhere, and with absolutely no assistance from this office, we were still able to get what our child needed and without being bamboozled and taken advantage of. I know at the end of the day this is just a business like any other around, and their goal is to make money, but they shouldn't so blatantly try to do so at the expense of children who need medical services (even if they are benign services) and parents who will do whatever it takes for their children. As parents, just like we'll do whatever we need to to keep our children healthy and well, we will also not hesitate to change to a more hospitable and practical office when the care we expect decreases."

"The doctors in this office are great and deserve 5 stars. However, since UTMB took over the billing for basic child medical services has skyrocketed. My son had a flu and strep test run in house. Simple swabs with results available in minutes. I received a bill for over $300. These test kits cost $15 to $20. I called UTMB and was told they would review this and still got the same outrageous bill 30 days later. I would have been better off taking him anywhere else rather than his doctor since birth. In years past these tests would cost an additional $30 to $40 after to office visit fee. This is unacceptable and the office will be losing patients of 8+ years."
