Lil' Smoked Bar + Grill

"Don't live here. Game was on. What to do? Chose Lil' Smoked because of the near perfect score. It's well deserved. Had shift change bartenders, beer, bloody Mary and wings. Bartender rocked. Wish I remembered her name. I'd give her some review love. Infectious smile. No volume on the TV's but all on the game. Beer was cold. So was the glass I ask for. Bloody was a 3 on taste 4 on presentation. Bartender 2 immediately added tobasco, lemon and Vodka upon request. No cracked pepper :( Wings were excellent. Sauces all fantastic. I'd really like to try more of their menu. You can always tell when a kitchen cares. Five star kitchen and bartenders. Small ding on the drinks. Highly reccomend."

"I dropped in Sunday on a below-freezing road trip between Iowa and Wisconsin. I was looking for something to takeout that was not a fast food burger. In minutes the bartender had me on my way with a brisket sandwich and homemade chips. The brisket was excellent and smoky and I enjoyed the horseradish dip that came with the chips. I may have to structure my next trip to hit this place again."

"Upon arriving we were greeted with a smile. A comfortable and clean atmosphere , lighting was just right to relax yourself. Our waiter, Danny "Eduardo", greeted our table with a energetic smile. I was very impressed on his knowledge and nifty way of describing their dishes that it literally made your mouth water. He brought us a combination platter of different meats, wings, curds, fries, coleslaw and more. A variety of BBQ sauces were brought to us, and I can tell you it was difficult to choose a favorite. The food was fantastic and brought to us in a few minutes. The customer service was amazing and although it's an hour drive from Clinton, it's definitely well worth the drive. Unfortunately, only one picture was taken of our food however, I'd say this picture speaks volume."

"Fun place for a good meal. Wasn’t too busy, but the service was great - never had an empty cup for our drinks. Only notes are that the prices are a bit high, burnt ends weren’t very burnt, and for seasoned fries, they were a bit under-seasoned, but the rest was still very tasty. My partner got burnt ends and brisket chili. I got chicken tenders & fries with ranch and honey mustard! Yummm."

"We had the pulled pork and stuffed grill cheese pulled pork sandwiches. The pulled pork was typical size and meaty, but a bit on the dry side. Flavor was smoky & good. The grilled cheese PP had better meat and the grilled cheese/bread had a nice caramel/crispy texture. The cowboy beans fresh and excellent. Fresh chips were thick with a nice clean potato flavor. Price was a good value. Has bar and table seating. Overall a : 4.6 score."
