"As a resident at Carrington at Barker Cypress, I've encountered a couple of issues that have left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Firstly, there's been an ongoing problem with the hot water supply in my apartment. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, the hot water remains inconsistent and often insufficient for my needs. This has been a significant inconvenience and has impacted my daily routine. Additionally, I've experienced difficulties with the communication channels provided by management. I've attempted to reach out via email regarding the water issue and other concerns, but it seems that my emails are not getting through to the management team. This lack of responsiveness adds to the frustration of dealing with maintenance issues. As a resident, I value effective communication and prompt resolution of maintenance issues. However, the current experience has fallen short of my expectations. I urge Carrington management to address these issues promptly, both in terms of improving the hot water service and ensuring that communication channels are reliable and responsive. I hope that by sharing my experience, Carrington management will take the necessary steps to improve their services and provide a better living experience for all residents."

"seldom to i ever take the time to write a poor review but my experience with this place was so terrible and i genuinely don’t want anyone going through what i went through. this place is awful. the only place they upkeep is the clubhouse, everything else is neglected. I was shown a beautiful model but when it came time to actually move into my unit, it was awful. There is trash piled high next to what doesn’t even look to be a trash chute, there’s trash and complete disarray under the stairs, the landscaping is unkept, the neighbors are disrespectful, and the leasing office workers could not care less about their residents. signing the lease and the move in process was an uphill battle, i almost never got straight forward answers when i had questions. paying my first months rent was a battle and they acted like it was my fault! My admin and application fee didn’t go through and they didn’t even call me to tell me, so i didn’t find out until days before i was supposed to move in and i had to scramble to ensure i still had my unit and they wouldn’t even return my calls. I found multiple earwigs in the unit in just my first week there. the dryer made an awful squeaking sound everytime it ran, i took lukewarm showers the entire time i was there. please save yourself the heartache and just don’t move here. i cannot stress it enough, they do not care about their residents."

"I love this place. Been here for 2 years and the property management team are amazing, so helpful and always responsive. Maintenance team also very good at what they do fast and helpful out of the whole two years. I’ve been here. I’ve got zero complaints about anything and only positive feedback."

"DO NOT LIVE HERE! Unless you want to see illegitimate charges start appearing on your account, have your concerns go unanswered, smell and see piles of trash right as you pull into the community, sleep with the roaches, or get your door kicked in. I lived here for 3.25 years from 2019-2023 and watched this place completely deteriorate. The trash bin is right by the front gate, in which trash is constantly overflowing and is probably why roaches run rampant here. I watched my neighbors get their door completely kicked in, apartment trashed, and just left like that with the door wide open, hanging off the hinge for weeks. The office staff here is the absolute WORST at communication; Olga was always unhelpful and rude from day one; Amanda was the only helpful one to me at times. This place charged me with illegitimate fees after re-signing my second lease and the staff here blamed it on a new management company taking over and explained to me how it would all be resolved and removed from my account. It never was removed from my account even after reaching out about this multiple times. Since moving out, they have now sent debt collectors after me and sent these illegitimate charges to collections for money that I absolutely do NOT owe them. I Always paid in full and on time ALL 39 MONTHS that I lived here and this is how they treat me... This used to be a great community when I first moved here. The only reason I ever re-signed a lease here in the first place was the close location to my job, the rate I was able to maintain, and the in-convenience of moving. But after watching the decline of this place, I had to depart. Save yourself from a stressful experience!"
