ParkLane Cypress Apartments

"I love this place. Many apartments call themselves "luxury apartments" these days, but that doesn't always mean they are. In this case, it definitely does. They have the amenities to justify doing so, and I love how spacious the grounds are. It's not cheap, but is is affordable, and the price is totally justified. Staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. I can see myself being here for a long time. My only complaint is with the fact that this ISN'T a dog-free apartment builing. This isn't intended to downplay other pets, but dog owners are the epitome of "give an inch, take a mile." From what I have seen in a short span of time, at least a third of dog owners here don't believe in leashes. They just allow their dogs to run free, or they have those crazy retractable leashes, which is the equivalent of not having them on a leash. Already I have been aggressed against by 3 different dogs, one of which was off its lead. And all I was doing was walking and minding my own business. There's one window where these two tiny, yapping dogs are constantly going off, barking their heads off at anything that passes by. The window is open, so you also see the dogs. It is so off-putting, and I constantly hear all kinds of dogs barking from inside the apartment units, just when I'm walking around. I have seen evidence of people not picking up after their dogs. I've also seen dogs violently attacking one another on my way to check the mail. This place would be so peaceful if there were no dogs. To the credit of management, however, I will say that I am thankful there aren't any dogs allowed in the clubhouse, or in the leasing office. It specifically says "no pets allowed", but let's just be honest. They're not refering to cats, or fish. No one is taking those animals every place they go, and dogs are the only pet animal that must be restrained in public for our safety. I also understand that unfortunately, being honest about things like this makes one a social pariah, so I have not used my actual name. And although this is a huge drawback for me, I will still highly rate this place because if it weren't for the presence of dogs, I would say it's perfect, and there's nothing to complain about. But I should be giving four stars instead of five. I honestly wish this private hobby (dog ownership) were viewed like smoking. Dogs are very out of place in apartment buildings, and in the last place I lived there were elevators and this was a nightmare. It seems it's unavoidable these days. I have no idea how many people own cats or hamsters here. I don't know how many people here have fish tanks. But I have a pretty good idea how many dogs there are, unfortunately."

"We had a great experience during our 4 month lease! We only needed a short stay while our new home was being built. The office staff was very responsive and very nice. The maintenance crew was very responsive and truly care about the property and the tenants. The amenities they offer are incredible and convenient. We would rent at this complex again in a heart beat! I recommend this complex to anyone that wants top notch quality and service."

"We loved living here! One of the best apartment experiences I’ve had. Staff was incredibly friendly- April is wonderful and was there from when we signed our lease all the way through living there. I loved that the fact our German shepherd pup was an ESA that she didn’t count towards the max of 2 pets policy (we have 2 cats). Super grateful they told me this when talking as I didn’t think we would be able to live there! Highly recommend due to kind staff and positive experience."
