Wilshire Apartments

"KEEP YOUR RENT RECEIPTS, THIS PLACE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! Never pay rent from the office computer. Even tho it's an error their liable for on their end & you can provide the office and Ambo Properties with receipts for YEARS (over a year and a half for us) they will never fix it and take the money from your deposit. (I still have all the receipts). Most units have plumbing issues that they never fix. They constantly have sewage backups in downstairs units from faulty old plumbing lines. The laundry room floods and too many people doing laundry at once will also cause backups next to the building. This place is so old, the sewer system is copper and cast iron. We had a plumbing issue (leak in the wall behind the kitchen sink) the entire two years we lived there which caused issues with roaches. We had to throw away two microwaves in a year because of the infestation as well as a bunch of our furniture when we moved. They would get into the fridge and fall from the vent over the stove into food. You would have to fight them to call pest control (we asked multiple times for pest control and they only sent them once, after we had to send them a certified letter). There are people that live twelve to a one bedroom unit. They do auto body repairs in the parking lot and party all hours of the night. They would blast their stereos and shake the walls at 3am on a Tuesday and not care about other residents. The office does nothing but put out notices that they all ignore. They never follow through. There are shootings there constantly. Someone was shot in the unit next door to mine and one of my neighbors was evicted for trying to stop a fight that got a minor stabbed. Nobody is ever at the office when they are suppose to be. Sandy the office manager had been an absolute nightmare to work with. She doesn't do ANYTHING and just ignores all issues. This has been the worst place I have ever lived, and I definitely would never suggest this place to anyone."

"Ive been in this apartment for a long time and ive never had any problems the maintience here are always helpful and the manager sandra is always helpful as well she makes me feel at home she so always nice and helpful amd very profesional would for shure recomend here plus all bills pay here"

I am now going into my second year living at the apartment complex and I do have to say that it is an enjoyable time. My building is quiet everybody is super friendly and nice. So again I want to thank Sandy for everything she does. And I also wanna shout out to Vicki Mathews for everything they are doing to the apartments and for everything they do to keep us all here. I couldn't recommend them more! Sandy is very professional and just great and very proactive about getting maintenance request and property issues takings care of immediately. "I love living here. I've been here for 4 yrs. Sandy is so great with people. She helped me when I first came into the office 4 yrs ago. She treated me like family and helped me with my first apartment here. I'm now in a 2 bedroom with my room mate. And of course she helped me again. Miss Sandy has great customer service I had a ac problem after hours the other night and the matiance Francisco was great he came right out and took care of me I always appreciate the maintenance help they are super good."
