"I moved into the apartment less than a year after it opened (back when it was Olympus on Main) and recently moved out around two months ago. The facilities and the apartment itself were surprisingly nice, especially given the price point. The package locker is pretty convenient even if it is filled with month old packages from lazy residents. I encountered no issues with the front desk or maintenance; they were consistently great during my stay. The move-out process was smooth, and I felt the charges for some paint and wall hangers were fair. However, our primary issue was the constant noise. At one point, my upstairs neighbors had a child who would ride or roll around on what I assume was a plastic tricycle, creating a constant disturbance. A more recent neighbor played loud music early in the morning, engaged in ab wheel exercises at 6 AM, and responded by jumping up and down when I knocked on the ceiling. This resident, who seemed linebacker-esque, was consistently heavy-footed, stomping around early in the morning and late in the evenings. Calls to the courtesy officer or front office would have them stop every once in a while and a couple weeks later they'd start again. My experiences with downstairs neighbors weren't much better. The second downstairs neighbor would throw parties, which, though tolerable, paled in comparison to the third, who had multiple children running around, slamming doors, and screaming every single night. Luckily, they were eventually evicted(I think?) The last neighbor had two? big dogs, and they made sure we were aware. These dogs barked incessantly for 6-8 hours each day, with the worst part being the late-night whining and barking that could be clearly heard through the floor until 2-3 AM on multiple nights each week. I contacted the courtesy officer and animal control, but they couldn't make contact or, if they did, it had minimal impact, as the barking persisted throughout the neighbor's stay. The disruptions caused by the kid, the stomping, and the inconsistent morning ab wheel exercises and music were irritating, but imagine the stomping from above randomly coupled with the dogs barking at 2AM on a Wednesday. In all honesty, I would give this place 5 stars if it weren't for the challenges posed by other residents. The quality of residents has declined year over year. While there may not have been any serious incidents like the random crazy domestic violence instances when I first moved in, the constant noise has made the occasional disruptive incidents much more tolerable in hindsight. The rating is probably closer to 3.5 with solid front desk/maintenance staff + amenities, but your experience will vary greatly depending on who you live around and whether management will do anything about it/them."

"They have a great maintenance team and the location is pretty good too even for people who have to commute and work in downtown as the DART is right next to it. The only thing is that if your apt is facing outward, it would be loud because of the constant train passing by. Not the DART, but the actual train…"

"I’ve been living here almost three years now. Lux is cozy, luxury and has one of the best gyms I’ve seen in an apartment building. The ladies in the front office are all easy to work with. I usually work with Jennifer. There has not been a need of mine she has not meet."

"I have lived at Lux on Main for about 4 months now. Everything has been wonderful from the very beginning! Erin is an amazing leasing consultant. She was so helpful from the start, and continues to be! She answered all of my questions (which were a lot), and is always super responsive to emails and calls. In regards to my apartment - I couldn’t be happier! It is beautiful, and I haven’t had any issues so far. Definitely recommend!"
