Reviews
"Apartment is nice, but maintenance is the worst. The lady that stays there during the day in the leasing office doesn’t answer your calls and is rude when asked for help and doesn’t help you when needed."
"I am glad I moved out a year ago. I only lived here because this was the only place I could afford. My job's salary at the time was really low, and I was in the process of finding another job and my own place when I moved out. I had lived there for 4 years, and noticed there is a high turnover rate for the management staff almost every year. (It's not necessarily the students that worked there -- it's also the property manager and assistant managers as well.) Chris was probably the best manager here because he tried to be fair to everyone. But JaLee and Lily ran this place into the ground. There are quite a few reviews on here that claim they handled the renovations poorly -- I can confirm this is true. I personally had to deal with a lot of poor communication and miscommunication from them during that time and in general when they took over. My roommates and I also had to deal with a horrible roommate that made everyone's quality of life worse. This person constantly screamed on their phone in our unit and left out half eaten, rotting food out on the kitchen countertop that grew mold and attracted bugs. I've made several complaints about this person's behavior to the management, but they handled it in such a half-baked manner just to keep the peace without actually resolving the issue directly. Lily simply told me it was a personality incompatibility between me and the person in question. JaLee, while she did confront the roommate, simply transferred me to a different unit and waived the fee since I only had less than a month left on my lease at the time. What really pissed off me was that she had the nerve to try to upsell me to stay here when I made it clear that I hated it here. That speaks volumes to what the management actually cares about. Please avoid this place, and find a different living arrangement during your time here in college. You can find better. I did -- I found a place where the property manager actually respects the tenants."
"Yet another frustrated tenant. I recently moved in and since then I only faced issues after issues with the apartment. I know the management don't really care the low rating as there are so many. But their overall rating is high only because the mangement used to be better before and all the good reviews are atleast 2-3 years old. If you are still interested in moving in, I wish you good luck and welcome to the Frustrated Tenant Group. BTW, be ready to spend money, when something is not working buy your own, don't even bother to put in a service request cz it will be ignored. I got my own fridge and next on the list is washer, dryer and who know what other things will end up on my list. I can't wait to move out."
"The management and maintenance at this place are worst class. They have no desire to correct issues with apartment such as having the AC out for two weeks during over 100 degree weather. The maintenance people come in and say "I'm not really sure what's wrong with it." They never seem to have the knowledge to fix anything. Time for a lawyer."
"Worst place for living ever.I have been living for a year in midtown which was my biggest mistake. In Arlington there are dozens better places that you can find with the same rent or lower where at least worth the money that you are paying Midtown apartments are extremely old and already dirty. Also the management is extremely careless and rude, and you can’t find anything helping by them. So do not waste your hard earning money on a place that everything irritates you everyday."
