"My maintenance request was attended to promptly. However 2 out of 3 issues were resolved. The water leak in the front wall of my apartment has not been fixed yet. I suspect it's a burst pipe issue."

"For the last 3 years I have tried moving to Highland Villas,. Stopped in yesterday to see about a 1 bedroom. Like usual they have no notice at this time. It was nice to see that the same office staff is still there and the lady remembers me. I guess I need to start a little earlier next year."

"Response to owner: Again, we moved out 8/31 and did not finish moving until 9 -10 pm that night therefore we were unable to turn in keys that day. Come the next day 9/1 (friday), I work full time during the day and was unable to come during the day as I work the exact hours as the office, however I received verbal confirmation from leasing agent Mary Ann Mitchell that I could turn the keys in after the long weekend holiday. Instead of honoring their word, the new property manager took our security deposit and, and suddenly changed their reasoning claiming that we have to pay the 200$ + due to cleaning services, however when asked for a statement detailing the breakdown for the cleaning charges..... crickets...... and we never got our deposit back.... Just be wary yall..... Lived here for a year. At the time the rent was super worth it for a 2bed 2bath with a nice sized backyard. Inside is pretty old though, not updated at all, and maintenance was okay. Lots of roaches in the kitchen despite pest control and keeping it clean. Parking is difficult, each unit/house only has 2-3 parking spots…. Difficult for guests to visit and find parking. Never once did we pay a single moth of rent late. Upon moving out the new manager attempted to charge us upwards of $200 due to turning the keys in 5 days late when we had moved out a week before that and were simply late upon turning the keys in due to the holiday causing the office to be closed as well as working full time."
