"The reason I'm rating these apartments a 2 star is because I've made so many memories in these apartments as I have lived there for 12 years. But those 12 years were awful. I found many cockroaches, neighbors smoking marijuana, lived next to a really noisy neighbor and they never seem to fix the temperature of the apartments. This one time we had to be outside most of the day because of how suffocating is the heat inside. I have seen so much in these apartments and so have we given complaints. I do not really recommend these apartments the managing is awful and they should at least fix the heaters. Thank you and I hope you see this and take some of my advice on fixing these things."

"Make sure that before you apply to these apartments that you have great credit. El Morocco checks your credit report not rental history. When you ask for the requirements, they'll tell you that you must make 3 times the rent, have your last 4 pay stubs, your ID, $50 app fee, and $100 admin fee. I had all, except they failed to tell me that they check your credit report as well. They denied me because of my credit report and being unable to verify my income. My supervisor told me no ever called or emailed her about me. And I would have never applied if I knew they checked your credit report not rental history. I know my credit is not that great.. but my rental is good. Now I'm out of $150 smh.. and still looking."

"Worse apartment and management. They don’t give you’re deposits back and even you better keep all the receipts for your rent because they’ll send you a letter that u didn’t pay the rent. Apartment itself is infested with roaches and bed bugs and they don’t do anything about it. Do your self a favor and avoid this place!"

"Love this apartment to the fullest... espeacily due to the management... she is so understanding and willing to help renters... the maintenance man is doing his best on helping everybody with their situations in their buildings but he gets the job done. If I would all refer anybody to these apartments I would most definitely love the fact that it's really peaceful not too much commotion and we are in the center of the city love the fact that the freeway is 2 minutes down the street and everything is here for pulled pleasure party Etc.... also the neighbors are very friendly and helpful and every situation especially a particular individual I don't know his name but most people there do."

"NOT ALL BILLS PAID! You need to pay for gas, pest and trash. No insurance needed before but manager said they will require it. Show her the contract, she just laughed. Very unprofessional. Apartments have LOTS of ROACHES. Air conditioning is BAAAAD! Old carpets, old bath tub, cigarette butts and beer cans everywhere, can hear loud music from parking lot. And even if you sign their contract and finalize the price, they would still increase your rent midyear. If I could give 0 star, I would. Different manager every month, they have their own versions of the contract and rules and regulations. Gonna finish the contract here, but I am VERY SURE that I will NEVER RENEW my contract."
