Harlowe Apartments

"Upon touring with this apartment complex, Regina was very nice and informative. We decided this would be a good fit, as it’s close to the highway and seemed like it had good amenities. We moved in, in November. Upon moving in, we were missing our hub device (which runs the smart feature in the home- door, temperature, etc.). We pay a $25 extra fee each month for this feature so we hoped they’d get it fixed quickly. Upon telling them they told us the smart company would be shipping a new one and once it arrived they’d come set it up for us. It took a week to get the device and when it came we got no communication from the office for further instruction. We ended up having to call the smart company ourselves and they had to book us an appointment which was a month out. We had issues during the set up appointment and needed the apartments help. They came to fix what was broken and informed me the smart company would be calling back that day to finish getting it set up. No one called that day and I informed them of that. I GOT NO RESPONSE FROM THE OFFICE FOR 3 DAYS UNTIL I FOLLOWED UP WITH THEM AGAIN. At that point Kate told me there was nothing they could do and my appointment was scheduled out a month later. Because of this, we asked that our $25 a month fee for the smart system be refunded or credited at least to our account. She said that wasn’t possible as they were “actively trying to fix the problem”. So 3 months of living here and we’re paying for systems that don’t work. Upon move in we also noticed multiple outlets and fixtures NOTICABLY installed crooked. And a few days after moving in our microwave broke. I’m infuriated by the lack of empathy, compassion, and understanding of this complex and KATE SPECIFICALLY and will not be referring anyone to live here in the future. All they want is your money, they don’t care about the fact that we are people too just trying to live our lives. The extra fees they charge are ridiculous and when a feature your paying for is not working they just tell you “devices have issues and the fee is not refundable” even after months of trying to have it fixed. DO NOT MOVE HERE."

"*Edit: 3 months after my initial review. I would no longer call the Harlowe quiet. Someone in building 5 has been blasting music late at night for weeks. Can’t tell which unit it is. So disrespectful.* I have been living at the Harlowe for 10 months now and really enjoy it. Devon in the front office was wonderful when I was touring and first signing my lease. Megan has also been wonderful, she genuinely cares about residents and has gone above and beyond to resolve any issues I have had. The trash valet, keypad entries, and the front pool are my favorite amenities. The maintenance team is super prompt as well. This is a quiet and cute place to live."

"Very poorly managed property. My friend moved here from out state and first week my car was towed even though their parking app would not allow addition of new information. We spoke with leasing in the office, but they did nothing to rectify the situation. This is minor compared to every visit I have made there, always the trash on the grounds, dog waste everywhere, unsightly items on patios/balconies, smell of weed in the breezeways, lack of parking, tons of city violations that can be seen all over the including standing water in the only handicap space, gate issues, and several other items I witnessed. The only nice thing to mention is the beautiful trees that are throughout the grounds."

"I had the pleasure of experiencing a 1-bedroom apartment that goes above and beyond when it comes to amenities and living comfort.This apartment truly stands out in terms of amenities. The pool is a refreshing oasis where you can unwind and cool off. The gym is well-equipped, making it convenient to maintain an active lifestyle. The addition of a dog park is a fantastic perk for pet owners. The walking trail is a pleasant surprise, adding to the overall charm of the apartment complex. The availability of community events fosters a sense of belonging and community spirit.The apartment's maintenance team deserves special recognition. The tech-savvy features in the apartment were a nice touch."

"I really love the Harlowe. The inside of our apartment is magnificent and provide lots of space for comfort and the patio we have is great and has really nice views the surrounding us. The front entrance is well maintained. We find the Neighbors to be quite friendly. The pools have a great layout with a resort like feel. The maintenance team is very responsive when you put in a request, almost the next day. Can’t beat that!!!"
