Parks at Treepoint

"DO NOT MOVE HERE whatever you do. We were here for almost 6 years and would have moved sooner had covid and personal issues not interfered. The apartment above us flooded twice and the apartments never took any ownership. I had to file on my insurance and pay a deductible TWICE with nothing from the apartments. They never fixed the mold, the electrical issues from the flooding or the paint that needed to be redone. The apartment around us had a fire and the firemen busted down our door. The apartment did a terrible job of fixing the door frame. They didn't replace it they just nailed it back in and did a terrible job "repainting" around it. When they did come to do some work and replace the carpet after the flooding the busted a hole in the bedroom door and broke the door frame. Again never addressed. We sent pictures and emails and numerous contacts and nothing. I asked the manager to walk through the apartment just to see and she never did. When we it was time to renew the last time I said we would renew with the promise that things would be fixed and was told absolutely. They came in and primed the ceiling but that was it. No one came back to finish. They did finally come paint the bathtub which was also an issue but it had already started peeling when we moved out. They are absolutely the worst. I will be filing with the city of Arlington and Housing authority as they are supposed to fix issued within 7 days of being notified and they NEVER did. The best part is they sent us pictures with our final bill of issues that we repeatedly asked them to fix like it was our fault. We have all the emails with the pictures. I wasn't going to post anything and let it go but now they have decided to send our "final bill" to a collection agency. I don't think so."

"I lived in this complex for 6 years and out of all the bad, there are two reasons this is still a 5 star review. Both of them being staff members. I moved out this year and thanks to Charles, I was never sideswiped with information, I was confident in my charges and procedures involving my lease, and his consistent integrity, sincerity, and professionalism was some of the best I had ever encountered over the course of my stay here. He and I may not have gotten to know each other for a long time as he is fairly new to the complex, but if you need someone to talk to, he is your guy. You can never misunderstand what is happening when speaking with him. Now, I've watched the Parks move through MULTIPLE companies. MULTIPLE managers, and an uncountable number of staff through my years. Dessiraee though, she is your girl if you want a hard worker that will make sure to take care of you. Through the years and changes she has been a constant, and we got to the point we were just greeting each other and she was the ONLY one I even trusted to report any issues and I know they would be addressed. She is kind, competent, and so compassionate. When put through ringer after ringer and having to explain over and over again each time a new employee or manager came in, she was always there to comfort and hold space for me, if not just outright take care of me so I wouldn't have to waste time - she already knew the drill for anything I had and her knowledge is impeccable. These two employees helped make my stay at parks more than bearable, and I genuinely will miss them both now that I'm moved out. I hope you have the pleasure of working with them as I have! Don't let these two go Parks @ Treepoint"

"They do not care about making the whole neighborhood or their residents look appropriate. They have several residents who have Walmart shopping carts left everywhere. When questioned about it they did not address it and didn't feel the need to address it it makes the whole street look terrible. Those of us who live on this street have decided that we actually are about to see if we can get a petition started because it's from this apartment complex that all kind of shopping carts are left everywhere. The front of this apartment complex looks great but I suggest that any of you who are considering moving there drive the whole apartment complex you will be amazed at what you see not only shopping carts but a lot more. They don't value the sense of community and that we're all a part of making our street and our apartment communities look decent enough for people to live in."
