The Hub at Chisolm Trail

"First I want to say that reading the reviews almost turned me off from these apartments, but having a heart and attempting to trust people made me overlook them. To say the least almost every review you hear about this place is true, maintenance repairs are not uncommon to take weeks with begging them for help. I dealt with lack of A/C in my unit, faulty electrical outlets, no lights in kitchen, cold water on showers and literally finding a young couple what seemed to be having Intercourse on top of the community washers absolutely unacceptable. To be honest I’m righting this review as a outlet to my anger for after all the unsatisfactory things I dealt with while living there it’s not over, I left the Hub over 6 months ago I payed everything that was presented to me and I never got a message in my email or any mail. That stated any type of balance was due, now out of the blue literally I have a collections for almost 600$ for something the hub failed to notify me on. To those who have no choice but to move here first read the reviews and make a reasonable choice I do believe that this is the going rate on customer service nowadays but honestly there are many good apartment complexes this is just not one. "Updated Review: Everything I said below still stands. But it has gotten much worse, warranting the update. This review has now gone from 2 stars to 1 star. During the freeze in January, we were warned to drip our faucets and keep our heat running. My heat didn’t even work and they didn’t fix it until after the freeze was over. It was below 55 degrees in my apartment the entire time and I suffered because of it. Then, they threatened to fine us if we didn’t drip our faucets, but then failed to go to the vacant units and drip those faucets, resulting in the empty unit above me having major leaks that dripped down into my master bedroom closet and through the outer wall into my bedroom. My bedroom carpets were SOAKED. I put in a service request on 01/18 and it was “resolved” on the same day with NO ONE coming to fix ANYTHING. It is now 02/18, one month later, and there is black mold growing on my carpets and personal items in my closet. I will have to throw out a significant amount of my wardrobe and shoes because SOMEBODY didn’t want to come clean up their mess. On top of that, they didn’t include a pull string for the light in that closet, so the light has LITERALLY been on THE ENTIRE TIME IVE LIVED HERE, SCREWING MY ELECTRIC BILL. I am disabled and have no way to fix it myself. If they don’t get their act together soon, they will have a lawsuit on their hands GUARANTEED! If you are thinking of living here, RUN! Original Review: No one ever answers the phone. They’re never in the office when they’re supposed to be. They don’t post your rent due in the portal on time. Maintenance doesn’t ever come. The gates don’t work. People’s cars keep getting stolen. Trash and dog poop everywhere. Getting super frustrated with living here. Thinking of ending my lease early."

"I would highly recommend living here. The complex is quiet and clean. The staff is great. Renee the manager is very easy to work with, very understanding and helpful. Judith is a leasing agent and she also is wonderful. I have been here for over a year and have no complaints."

"Lord, where do i even begin. Let’s start with the fact that even though it’s one of the coldest times in texas these people can’t get a decent company to fix the water heaters so we can at least get hot water to shower with, me and my mom who works night shifts had to shower in the cold for a week, before we drove 50 minutes to my sisters house just to get a hot bath. Or the fact that my mom has been complaining for 6 weeks that the dishwasher has not been working and doesn’t drain, and for 3 weeks they have been telling us we need new parts. Don’t even get started if you have an issue in your apartment hopefully you a week worth of waiting unless you go to the office yourself. And don’t think about being an hour late for rent even if they aren’t doing they’re job, honestly for how much rent is you would think you’re moving into a decent and well maintained apartment sadly this place isn’t it. And don’t worry we’ve been here for almost a year and 2 months. Don’t get me wrong the office agents are incredibly kind one of the nicest anywhere you’ll go, but when you have to shower and hand wash your dishes in freezing cold water in the winter they’re kindness can only go so far."
