"I was a resident at this property when it was “Cortland Presidio East”. Best management team & leasing agents hands down until Bell Presidio took over. I had moved in February of last year and moved out end of September. Since then I have made several calls last year acquiring about my deposit they assured me was going to be giving to me within 30-60 days. When I called in December I was told I would be receiving a call from the manager of the property. NEVER HAPPENED!! So I took the liberty and left work early on Wednesday Jan 17th, 2024 since now these people don’t like to answer the phones. I spoke with a lady named Tessa…whom I actually dealt with the day I delivered a check for $2,800 when I terminated my lease. Tessa then informs me all of a sudden the ledgers show I owe money. She herself stated it didn’t even look right and that she sent an email to the property Manager whom I was suppose to be hearing from and still nothing. Bell Presidio is definitely a whole scam and their words mean nothing. It’s extremely unethical behavior because us prior residents were told our lease contracts were going to still be withheld. Not only are you withholding all of my deposit but the attempt to pump me for more money is absurd!! especially when I know I had assistance with cleaning that apartment before my departure. I guess I’ll have to figure out my next steps. UPDATE: I was contacted by the property manager Lesley, after making this post. Everything was rectified and I received a check for the remainder of my deposit a couple days later. Thank you."

"Ever since Bell Presidio bought these apartments the quality of absolutely everything has gone down tremendously. The office staff is completely unprofessional and the property manager is just terrible. They constantly just tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone if you are lucky enough to get ahold of them. One of the things I liked about these apartments is that they were gated with a keyfob to get it but the gate has been broken for weeks now and I don't believe they plan on fixing it any time soon. The new fees they added are just extra junk to try to squeeze every dollar they can get out of you. The trash service is so bad now with undersized trashcan to place your trash in and dumpsters that are always overfilled with trash all around it so you can't throw your trash away yourself. Maintenence doesn't exist and you can't get someone to help ever and when you do see them they smell like weed and are blasting their trashy ghetto music. Before the apartments were bought out there were never any bugs and the dog park was always clean but nothing has been taken care of properly to ensure safe and clean amenities. They also quit enforcing the non-smoking policy so you constantly see trash and smell nasty things constantly around the apartments. This is my second year living here and both years our pipes have frozen and busted. There is nothing "luxury" about these apartments and can not wait to leave as soon as our lease ends. If anyone reads this please take it as a sign to just look elsewhere"

"Bell Presidio is a mess. The dumpster is always overflowing it’s disgusting. The dog park is gross. The apartment complex constantly smells like weed even though this is a “no smoking complex.” The gate is always broken so cars constantly get broken into and vandalized. The front office staff did not care about the incident and blamed it on people jumping the fence instead of the wide open gate. Maintenance takes so long to respond to request. When I do see them outside they are always smoking. The fire alarms and sprinklers and currently broken and I was told to simply “watch for smoke in the meantime.” The valet trash service is horrible. I got trouble for placing two bags in the bins, but they go days without picking it up. The last two five star reviews are obviously fake. I guess management thinks we’re dumb. They were both made in the same week and each account has only made one review ever. I read other reviews of people complaining about not getting their security deposit back….. By law they have 30 days to give it to you. Something needs to change. They need a new manager or Cortland needs to buy this complex again. When Cortland owned this property it was amazing. Do not live here unless you want to deal with all of the issues I’ve listed above."

"This property was bought out by Bell Partners and has been terrible ever since!! If you enjoy a $25 “amenity fee” and a $15 trash compactor fee (both of which the previous company didn’t have), a $25 valet trash fee, AND a fee for not bringing in your dirty trash can into your nice clean home, then this place is for you! This company will nickel and dime you to death! Also, maintenance is not as proficient as the previous company was. They are not quick to respond and have had a hard time resolving seemingly simple maintenance requests. The trash is overflowing at the dumpster with a mountain (no exaggeration) of trash bags scattered all over the walkway up to the compactor. There's also 2 large trash bins overflowing and just sitting in the street and spilling contents onto the ground. It's appalling to see this in a so called "luxury apartment". The perfect breeding grounds for roaches and other pests to come. They are also trying to change the layout of the world class 5 star amenities the previous company already had in place. The apartments were already incredibly modern and luxurious as this complex is still very new. They also raised me by $100 after just 1 year. As soon as my lease is up, I'm OUT!!"

"I moved here last year. Loved it. We have a new company owners and the changes are horrible. My lease was up in October. I have signed FOUR lease renewals since then, and I still don't have a lease agreement, and it is currently December!! I went into the office and asked to speak with the property manager and was denied. I signed a lease document BEFORE I LEFT so there would be no further issues. Lo and behold, there is another issue with the lease I signed. I was also told my 7 year old needed to sign my lease as well. I am over the incompetence. I planned on staying here a few years but will definitely be leaving within the next year, as many of my neighbors have been. Maintenance has gotten slower. They valet trash service is horrible. I pay for pest control and haven't seen any pest sprayers the whole time I've lived here. The crickets are EVERYWHERE when it's warm. The communication of front office staff is horrible! Tessa tries to help but I don't want to speak with her. I want to speak the manager who is always in a meeting and can't be bothered to make appointments or return calls but can sign letters for late payments after I have made 10 calls to the office and walked in several times."
