"07/28/23: Lindsay, Ashley, and Thomas were very kind, organized, and quick to respond to any issues I had. I purchased the property I was renting (John Chunn Realty/Property Management Associates were the property managers/listing agency for the landlord/seller), but I unfortunately got screwed out of 11 days worth of rent. I asked about the prorated rent refund at least 5 times over the course of the purchase process and was advised that I would recieve the repayment after the transaction funded. I requested the refund after funding, and I was told that the property management account had been emptied and they could not help. I find this absolutely unacceptable, as approximately $500 of rent repayment has been stolen from me. My advice is to ALWAYS get everything in writing and remember that if you are a tenant, this company works for the landlord, not you. Expect them to always side with their clients. Again, they were kind, organized, and responsive. But don't make the same mistake I did, and think that people will do the right thing. Get it in writing. 08/02/23: Update! Wow. Lindsay reached out to me and indicated that even though the seller was unwilling to do a partial refund, she wanted to help in some way. She sent over a gift card with some funds on it. I really appreciate it, as this is an older home and the refunded rent was going to go towards repairs. The gift card will help with some of that. It is very appreciated. Thank You!"
