The persons that manage and own the building are very nice and they are super helpful. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I cannot say anything negative because it is good here, for me."

"I lived here in college and it was scary. I was a single young female and the final straw was when I walked into my living room at 11PM and the OWNER was standing IN MY APARTMENT LIVINGROOM. I had no idea he even entered or was knocking or anything. He said that somebody in the apartment building was throwing charcoal over their balcony and wanted to see if it was me. It wasn't. Also, lots of neighbors complained that their items in their apartments would go missing daily. They thought it was employees/ownership stealing from their units. I moved out a few weeks later as I didn't feel safe at all. He sued my mom (co-signor) because of it."

"Do not move here. They will screw you over the first chance they get. The actual building looks nothing like the pictures online or on their website. The building is rundown and dirty. The owner Carter Stanley starts off seeming nice and then the moment you decide not to move in he turns aggressive. There were so many red flags here. Homeless people in and around the building. Two Tiny elevators for 15 floors of tenants that only hold maybe 3 people at a time max. Do not put your deposit down. If you decide not to move in Carter Stanley will keep it and when you ask for it back he will tell you to take him to small claims court. It is completely false advertising. Do not move here!!"

"Run from this place. The management is probably the worst you can find in the entire city of Lubbock. We moved in here in August of 2017 and they did not even give us keys for the building door until two and a half months later. The roaches are unavoidable and there is a picture showing how many of them you will come across on a daily basis. The owner is an old-fashioned, selfish, rude, and fairly racist guy. He would question my fiancee on a daily basis about coming into the building because she was black. Same thing happened with some of his staff. The pool is not operational and never will be again because the owner hired an underskilled worker to fix it and they completely ruined it beyond repair. That, of course, is not shown on the website. Also, the "gym" that is shown on the website is a complete false representation, all you get is a couple of treadmills, most of which are not functional. The ceiling on most floors is nonexistent and the fire department has already about 5-10 claims against this building for hazardous operations for which the landlord is paying 100s of dollars daily. The apartments are outdated, have bugs that you will never get rid of, the neighborhood is terrible and you will see cops outside of your building 4-5 times a week. As far as the maintenance requests, you can forget about it. I waited over 2 months to get an electrical issue in my bedroom fixed. Also, when my living room flooded, they waited a week before coming to drain my carpet and they never came to clean it as promised. You will also get almost daily notices for the water getting shut off right before it gets turned off as the landlord has terrible memory and no regard for giving timely warnings about anything. I ended up moving out before the expiration of my lease because the landlord came up with some story about not allowing dogs over 20lbs. Mind you, this is when one of my dogs grew to about 50lbs so he finally figured he had a reason to ask us to move. Of course, this type of rule was nowhere to be found in the lease. Once we moved, he is still trying to charge us for the remainder of the month in which we moved out until he found someone else to take our unit. Even though he originally asked us to move out because the dog does not meet his made-up policy. This is the last place you will ever wanna live at, trust me. The only good thing are nice maintenance guys who do their job right but often get dinged because the landlord is a scumbag."
