"Be aware. The pics on the website are NOT current and do NOT depict the current state of the property, particularly the exterior. Overgrown tree branches and weeds, dirty sidewalks from dried mud as there are areas of no grass; pool is damaged and closed as it clearly NOT being worked on as the staff will state and additional common exterior areas are unusable to include the bar-b-que area; volleyball court has dirt, not sand; exterior power/utility closets have no locks and have debris inside of them, to include the fire sprinkler control room that has a lack of door hinges. The staff as referenced in other reviews are rude and have an uncaring attitude. Upon moving into my unit they claimed was “move in ready” and was inspected and cleaned was in fact not any of the things. I’ve had to clean the whole unit myself and already filed multiple maintainer requests. Do NOT enter into a contract without looking, which I had to do due to being far away prior to showing up for orientation for college. The ill kept and unsafe areas is the standard of the Edge, but it is not so for other apartments in the area. I e-mailed the Regional Manager, Ms. Kristin Fodrie, who never responded. The Edge is owned by a business that owns similar properties in several states, so their unresponsiveness is not surprising. Update: December 4 2023 The complex is relatively quiet and there havent been any issues with my unit but the management is another story. There have been mulitple issues that ive encountered with the managers and ive only been here for 3 months now. On one occasion they had entered my apartment but promptly left when they realised I was present. When I called to address the situation the first time they hung up on me and when I called another time I was met with a defensive attitude on the part of management. I never received a prior notification / email of their intent to enter my apartment. Secondly in regards to the building although I submitted a simple request to have the entrance area cleaned / vacuumed they claimed that they cleaned the area shortly before Thanksgiving yet I was present throughout that time period. It was never cleaned and it was inferred to me that I was lying."

"The Edge has good apartments, the neighborhood isn't great though. I know several cars were broken into at one point, the apartments themselves are very secure. They get five stars for great customer service, good responsive maintenance team, and they were fair and honest refunding my security deposit which I appreciate."

"Want to rent here? Think twice! We lived here for a solid 3 years due to work. Everything was good until the owner was changed about 1 year ago around 2021. With the old owner, the pool and the lawn were clean, the staff were friendly, kind, and helpful, we saw the staff cleaning the building and parking lot almost everyday. But with the new owner, the pool is dirty all year long, everywhere is full of garbage, the lawn was damaged, no one cleans the floor inside of the building nor the parking lot, and the apartment is full of mouse even on the 2nd or 3rd floor! The staff are rude and not helpful at all. The renting price is now sky high! So, if you want to live here, think twice!"

"Liveable and convenient location. Old buildings with thin walls, you will hear each of your neighbors and the street. Upon moving in the apartment was littered with the previous tenants belongings, carpet and counters were full of dog hair, multiple lights out. Maintenance is clearly understaffed as I've only seen one worker and work orders take weeks to be completed if they ever get completed. Area feels unsafe and is generally unclean. Staffing is 50/50 depending on who work with, they will try to accommodate you but there are too many issues with the apartments themselves for them to make much of a difference."

"Welcome to The Edge If you had asked me a year ago to write a review, it would have been an easy 5/5. Sadly, the new owners got rid of the old management and staff, and they hired a completely new group. I waited several months to write a review because I know it can take a while to learn the ropes. The most recent reviews with high likes are accurate. Any review beyond about 8-9 months ago was about the old management and is now meaningless. The new group is either highly incompetent, lazy, or completely indifferent to what goes on here(probably a mixture). The property is in a constant state of decay and neglect as shown in the pictures. For example, that urinal has looked like that for over 8 months, and the whole bathroom (and beyond) reeks of urine. Furthermore, half of the machines in the gym are out of order/broken (a pretty usual occurrence). These are locations that people on a tour of The Edge could easily see and smell. More importantly, this is what paying residents have to see on a daily basis. The Edge does not care."
