"A one star rating is much too generous for this abomination of an apartment complex. My apartment missing an entire couch (am stuck with a vacant space in the living room), and although furniture is promised in the lease and maintenance requests have been put in, they have yet to even acknowledge the issue. Management will not reply to your emails. My dryer turns into a lint dispenser when turned on. Multiple countertops are completely disconnected from the walls which they rest on. Better yet, trash piles into the street, and the parking lot is littered with garbage. The walking trails are covered in animal feces. Management screwed up the utility payments for multiple months, and decided on charging seemingly arbitrary fees tacked onto the next month’s rent. Save yourself the trouble and stay far, far away from The One. If you are thinking of moving here, or sending your child here, find somewhere else. I guarantee it is better than this place. Just as an edit: one of the managers (probably Jon Thornton) replied to this review saying that he would contact me shortly regarding some of the issues I had, so that we could set up a meeting in person. This was just service to look better in the reviews, as of nearly two months later- I have not been contacted for an in person meeting. What a lie. This was commented on several other negative reviews too, and I’m sure he did not contact a single one of them."

"My sons apartment (active duty military as well as a student!) has been like this since January 16th!! We have called multiple times to the office and the response we get is “ we do not have an update at this time.” He cannot use his shower, toilet, or bathroom sink. The general manager called to ask if he would be renewing the lease, which doesn’t expire for an additional five months, when he told him absolutely not that he does not have running water he said I’m sorry I’m not calling about those issues right now and basically hung up on him."

"This place has been nothing but terrible since we started here. My Son rented a room in the middle of August. His first lease on his own. We toured a nice unit but were told we couldn’t tour the actual unit he was renting until after he signed all his paperwork. No wonder, upon arrive the apartment key didn’t work. That took quite some time for them to fix and once we saw the actual apartment it was horribly filthy and damaged. Busted doors and furniture. Once we reached out to Gabby she stated that “he signed an as-is document that says they don’t walk the units before renting them out. He could send a work order but that’s all the could do.” We should’ve known then but we were kind of stuck at that point. His rent was incorrectly charged starting month 1, then comes the utility charges that they messed up on, A/C being out for days on end in the summer heat, etc. Now we are at the point of him transferring to another school so the apartment managers made him turn in his keys and sign an early move out form so he couldn’t access the unit if he wanted to. They never answer the phones or respond to emails in a timely manner. They don’t update balances or correct inaccurate rent charges but they sure will try to collect their late fees! Not to mention the mail situation. My Son has had mail lost there I’m assuming due to the rent by the room situation but when he went to the office to inquire, they just handed him stacks of other peoples mail to go through to attempt to find his which he never did locate. I could go on and on about the issues he has had while here. They run specials for a reason, but go pay a little more somewhere else. And yes, we’ve already emailed and called several times. Jon, check your inbox!"

"BIG UPDATE!!!: this place screwed up big time on charging tenants for utilities, so instead of just prorating it, they tacked it onto our November rent. I am absolutely positive they just pulled some arbitrary amount out of thin air because there is no way that a 2 bedroom apartment racked up $400+ In utilities in 2 months! They will also post flyers on your door in order to get you to renew your lease, as if the outrageous amount of texts and emails weren’t enough. You are actually better off living in the projects compared to this place. Review: This complex is mediocre at best and uninhabitable at worst. Upon moving in, my roommate and I noticed many problems such as, lack of furniture which was promised in the lease agreement, the railing in one of our closets just being completely ripped out, our oven/stove doesn’t work, our keys don’t lock our bedrooms, our dishwasher has exposed wiring and smells terrible, and ugly brown couches. This isn’t even the worst part. The trash near the dumpsters look like they haven’t been taken out since the birth of Jesus, which is a biohazard. I’m not even sure how long maintenance requests will take at this point since there has been so many recently. It should be illegal for a place especially like this to bump up their reviews. This place can’t even do the bare minimum but they expect rent to be paid on time every time. Update: The pool hasn’t been working since late September. Recently, the trash in the dumpsters haven’t been removed in DAYS and the entire parking lot is starting to smell. There is also a pretty bad gnat and fly problem due to all of the trash. There are a few stray cats that roam around the complex, which doesn’t really bother me, but I am concerned for their safety due to them hiding underneath cars.Sidenote:If you are one of the lucky ones who are able to get in touch with someone at the leasing office, make sure it’s Hudson. The rest of them are maliciously incompetent."

"I lived here for a year and had no real issues. I decided to stay another year in a different unit because the rent was getting too pricey for the studio and it has been hell. The complex does not communicate anything. I try speaking with them but it’s impossible with their hours and when I do get a chance to talk to them, they give no real help. The complex has a horrible roach problem. I have tried getting in touch with some issues and never receive responses. They scam you with the amount of fees they dish out of thin air. Plus will charge you OUTRAGEOUS amounts for “damages”. You are looking at $500 for putting a thumb tack in the wall. On top of that, it smells horrible and trash is all over the complex. I came home one day from work around 7pm and my door was WIDE OPEN and I have no idea why because they also don’t inform you if someone is stopping by your apartment. The only reason this place has more than one star is because they give residents incentives to leave good reviews."
