Meridian Park Apartments

"The absolute worst place in Lubbock, between the ownership threatening tenants with fines, constant water cut offs for "maintenance", the pool never being open, heating and air conditioning going out at the worst times and not being fixed for weeks. They have the nerve to go up on rent by $75 every time the lease is up."

"I’ve lived here since July of 2023 and I’ll just say it’s been a horrible time. We’ve had X amount of problems which includes flooding and water coming through our ceiling. But what baffles me most, is they turn the water off for “maintenance repairs” every other day. Not only is the water temperature absolutely terrible in this apartment, but we have to go some days without water because it’s always shut off."

"Bathrooms covered in black mold, and they have caulked over it 10 times because they are to lazy to strip it out. Your water is turned off daily “due to emergency leaks” causing you to be in the middle of the shower and your water just shuts off. When I first moved in half my drawers were broken and falling out, my front door was wide open, my tiles in my bathtub were falling through because the drywall behind was molded out. This place is awful. Ownership is awful. And they won’t let you out of your lease when you have an unlivable apartment. Goodluck living here."

"I have lived in these apartments for 1 year and let me say it has been the worst year ever. The apartment flooded the day before we moved in, and because it wasn’t fixed properly it flooded again 1 week after we moved all of our stuff in. When we moved in we had no ac or a working fridge for a week! They never fully repaired the flood damage either. Then there’s the problems with the water I put in a maintenance request for a broken water heater on 01/01 and it wasn’t completed till 01/06. Here we are in June and we have one month left in our lease and we found a new place to live. We request to work something out since we have had hell since day one, and we were met with the worst attitude. After all of this we can’t even get our deposit back bc it’s 06/05 and we didn’t give them a 60 day notice on 06/01!! honestly worst apartment ever I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!"

"Don’t live here. I wasn’t gonna write a review but today did it. I put in a maintenance request about a month ago, today they came to fix another maintenance man’s error, they patched a leak in the ceiling previously but when they patched it they didn’t use the popcorn stuff so it was plain looking. I requested that they make it look like the rest of the ceiling. It’s not like I’m asking the world….. so they attempted to fix it. Previous maintenance man told me that they would put plastic down before they fixed it so when I made my request, i said they could come whenever. They did not use plastic, nor did they move my things, nor give me notice. Now I have a newly painted tv, newly painted plant and there’s paint on a 200 dollar keyboard and a 800 dollar drone. Not happy at all… The maintenance team negligence is this place’s downfall. Staff is as nice as they can be. Still… if you have the option, avoid this place. They don’t pay their maintenance team enough and force them to use their own vehicles. Maintenance is sub-par as shown in the pictures. Landscaping team is trash, instead of blowing stuff out of your entryway they blow everything into your entryway. The grass looks terrible. The collection of photos is my experience here that I documented. Look elsewhere for an apartment if you can."
