"oak creek is the worst. i have lived here for a year and a half but definitely will not be resigning next year. the laundry situation(among many other issues) is continually awful. things of mine were stolen, no camera footage, washers do not wash things. i went to address this with management and they said that maintenance is always out looking at them but they still never work. there are obstructions in the parking lot half of which are marked and I totaled my car by hitting one that wasn’t marked because it’s so low to the ground you can’t see it(and the same color) you can’t see it and i talked with them about insurance and they said it was my fault but then went and marked it clearly a week later. ac was out for weeks consecutively in the MIDDLE OF SUMMER, shower didn’t work for 2 weeks straight. every time i go to the office i never feel taken care of and they just try to appease me and not fix anything. i should not have to drive to my friends house to wash my clothes im sorry. also, just got back from the office, requesting a refund for the washing machines and how the company that does the washing machines didn’t answer my calls and the girl in the office said there’s nothing she can do about it, but she might mention it to them so basically i don’t get my money back"

"About a month into my rent with Oak Creek, and I have been continually satisfied with the effort and care the staff takes into taking care of their tenants. The front desk staff are especially remarkable and kind (shoutout to Maggie and Lauren), and Chuy & Bobby in facilities were very courteous, amiable, and knowledgable about what needed to be fixed. When our A/C went out, they were quick to provide alternatives and gave us continual updates. Living is comfortable, and community feels very safe. Highly recommend when openings are available!!"

"the maintenance men aren’t actually AC certified and can’t seem to find any pants without any holes in their butts, management does not make emergency maintenance calls a priority, my ac was out for a whole weekend and they did not turn the breaker back on so everything in my fridge/freezer had to be thrown out and was only credited $60 for everything,, will not be resigning my lease"

"Final review. Edit: After about a year and a half, I'm moving out. Overall, it's an okay place to live if you're looking for something affordable and safe. It does have its negatives like any other place. The office staff is the highlight of the property, which isn't something you can say at most places. +I will say that the office staff is beyond amazing, they've always been kind, attentive and answered any questions I've had fairly quickly. +My utility bills were the lowest they've ever been since residing in Lubbock, LP&L wasn't making a fortune off of me here. -Roaches can be a problem even with pest control. As time has gone on, even noticed roaches had been painted over in a few spots, not a good look. -Maintenance went from really good, to bad over the course of my time here. Major things like the central air/heat broke and were never fully repaired. They would mark the ticket "complete". -The loud music is an issue, it's during the daytime someone will sit in the parking lot with their door open and just blare music. I know that's just the deal with apartments, but it's nearly a daily occurrence here."

"Sloane, and the Oak Creek Staff, were super helpful throughout the entire leasing process! Sloane worked super hard to make sure everything was in order and on time for move in! EDIT: The apartment was in no way ready for someone to move in, and they also did not hold up their end. Sloane is no longer at this office. It took them 4 months to give me my deposits back. The apartment was disgusting when I moved in, I had to clean it on my own. The. they proceeded to charge me when I moved out."
