"I have lived here for the past two years and it was overall great! The management changed a few times and some issues arose with that, but the final management has been awesome and has worked with us so nicely. The area is good and safe! The only negative was the rising rates every year. After the first year-long agreement, it raised by one hundred a month which was surprising."

"I moved in about 4yrs ago. It was decent for the price and in a relatively safe area. But since then it seems every time I renew my lease, the management raises my rent. I'm a single income household, I don't get raises and bonuses. I've explained this to three managers and a member of the property management group was supposed to call me today regarding the situation. Every time my rent is raised, I hear the same excuse. "It's the market and inflation". Okay, but this isn't NY or Ca (rent in my hometown in NY is cheaper)...I live in a one bedroom shoebox w/no storage and an A/C unit that works periodically. Over the next year, I'm seriously going to be looking elsewhere...a friend of mine lives nearby and her rent for more or less the same is about $100.00 less. You'd think management would want to keep long term renters. Update 08/06/2023. On Friday, I received a notice from management stating that they had contacted me on 07/27/2023 regarding my patio area. I have physical limitations which make bending tasks difficult. I've also been in poor health for several months. I reached out to management regarding the alleged contact, however they have yet to respond. I've also noticed a lot of negative changes regarding the pool/pool area. Several individuals not from the complex using the pool (look if you're quiet and respectful it's no big deal to me) to splash those trying to relax, children unattended jumping and diving into the pool, deciding not to allow other use of the pool. A few weeks ago I was locked out of the pool area, contacted management and still have not received contact. The people who had locked the pool area were other residents who took issue with my weight...I'm approximately a size 8 and working to loose 50LBs by end the end of the year...know what a great exercise is? Swimming. Obviously management sides with the fatphobic residents. I am so glad to be moving elsewhere this spring/summer and hopefully out of Texas entirely. There is no "southern hospitality", there is no respect or consideration for others. It's sad, because this used to be a nice and quiet place to live, I used to be able to enjoy the pool on days off. If you're looking for a nice, quiet place to live, look elsewhere. This place is going down hill fast and I can easily see it becoming another slum in town within a year or two if something isn't done."

"This place used to be great when Sabrina was in charge. However, since the new management team took over, there have been noticeable negative changes. The atmosphere has become more aggressive, and the sense of community has diminished as there are no longer any community events being organized. Another concerning aspect is the significant increase in rent. In the past, the management usually kept the rent lower for long-term residents, but the new manager seems unwilling to continue this practice. This sudden rise in rent is quite disheartening for those who have been loyal tenants. The new manager's attitude towards tenants is often rude. It's disappointing to experience such lack of respect and professionalism when dealing with someone who is supposed to oversee the well-being of the residents. Overall, the transition to the new management team has been less than satisfactory. It has resulted in a more aggressive environment, a lack of community events, significant rent increases, and an unpleasant attitude from the manager towards the tenants."

"My fiancee and I felt very taken care of during our 2+ years we lived here. The staff was always welcoming, knew us by name, and were prompt to improve any issues, which were very rare. The neighbors we had were kind and quiet. We always felt safe and the location is close to shopping and a great park. We only left because we moved cities, but we would have stayed here for a long time. I cannot recommend a better apartment complex than Elm Creek."

"If you are looking for a great apartment, you have come to the right place. I lived here for over a year and would recommend this amazing apartment complex to anyone! Marcie, the Property Manager, is the absolute best!!! Elm Creek should do whatever it needs to keep her around! The apartments are conveniently located and well maintained. Not many apartment complexes offer such convenient parking, as you get to park right in front of your building/apartment. Additionally, Marcie is always on top of things. If you need maintenance done, their maintenance person is extremely professional and great at his job. Lastly, everyone at the office does a fantastic job. I have never lived anywhere where they remember you by name. Even though I rarely visited the office, they always knew me by name and were very welcoming. 11/10 RECOMMEND - you won't regret it!!!!"
