CareNow Urgent Care - Tech Ridge

"Pro: staff once I got seen were great. Con: I had an expensive surgery in January and met my deductible completely. I get sick in March and come here and the girl at the front desk was adamant I haven't met my deductible. I show her my insurance statement that shows I have & she still charges me $180 dollars for a visit when it should just be my urgent care co pay. will see if I get a refund, but I strongly recommend to go elsewhere as they wrongly charge too much claiming it's the system."

"I’m giving 3 stars for the sake of the nurse and the Dr. They were both very hospitable, accommodating, light hearted and easy to talk to. HOWEVER, the two stars are being taken for the front desk lady. I called before coming to see if the online check in worked because I was having technical issues with the verification process. She said yes. Upon my arrival, there was no one at the front desk for about 10 mins and I had politely yelled “Hello” & “I need to check in” and I had seen two individuals in the back. No response. No sense of urgency. When the front desk woman returned, she immediately asked if I was going to be paying with my own card rather than asking for my insurance which struck me odd. I had not even checked in and she’s asking me for my personal debit card. I told her, I need to check in first, how am I to know what needs to be paid, and she said well did you do it in your phone? I said no because I told you about the technical issue, she then said I don’t need to catch an attitude with her and my rebuttal was “isn’t this your job?” The professionalism was only present when I went back to see the nurse and dr. The customer service at the front desk was barely accommodating. To the next patient, she couldn’t read her hand writing so she had her fill out the iPad instead of after have filling out the entire paper form. From past reviews, I know I’m not alone on this. I’ll save my time, energy, and money going to a better established urgent care next time."

"New patient here! Everything about my experience with CareNow Tech Ridge has been exceptional! The online registration and check-in was easy-peasy! The staff is nice and the office is clean! 10 out of 10 will recommend and return in the future! THANK YOU CareNow Tech Ridge for helping me today!"

"I liked: * Online registration with upload of documents and checkin. * Plenty of parking. * First floor easy access. * The professional atmosphere. * The cleanliness. * Water - cold or hot and herbal tea. I needed the cold water. * The understanding of my situation. * The use of nurse practitioners. * Seems to have high level diagnostic equipment. Maybe call first. This is urgent care NOT an emergency room. Did not like: It’s a very busy clinic. You may not see all the patients because they have many rooms in the back and online visits too. I’d like an app that tells us where we are in the line so we know where we are in the lineup. The current check-in app doesn’t have that feature. I had a great experience and am glad that I chose this location. Yes I would recommend to family and friends."
