"Called to confirm my appointment and ask a few questions but was met with rude and unnecessary responses from Lola, the receptionist. Lola talked over me while I tried to ask my questions and made me feel as though I should not have called at all. I immediately canceled my appointment after the call. After reading all the other low star reviews, I can confirm this practice is a nightmare at the receptionist front due to Lola’s lack of professionalism and unnecessary rudeness toward a total stranger and would have been, new patient."

"If I could give Dr. Giles 0 stars I would. This review is not to question her education on her medical field but strictly to talk about her and her team’s unprofessionalism. I now understand the other bad reviews and wish I would had listened to the red flags as they mentioned but again, I try to be optimistic and judge it on my own regardless of someone else’s review. Lesson learned. Also, Dr. Giles please DO reply and try to justify the reason why you acted the way that you did since you couldn’t do so in person, you just walked out there and because you are the doctor you felt you had the authority and power to kick someone out without having the audacity to try to understand the situation. I showed up early to my appointment, 15 minutes early, to talk about a document that I had a question about. I know we are supposed to sign and agree to sharing our medical records with other doctors, providers, family members etc. which I agree and don’t mind signing since I’ve done the same with other providers. When I read this particular form, it had additional information in regards sharing to other third parties which I didn’t know who’s those third parties are. In that same document, at the very bottom, it mentioned you can opt out if you do not agree to those third parties and all I had to do is put “opt out” on form and sign. I asked front desk to please print out the form since I am unable to opt out online. Yet, again, I can’t move forward in completing check in because of this form. The front desk lady was rude from the very beginning and said you cannot opt out and to have a seat while they are processing my insurance. I sit down and I am over here waiting to hear back in regards the form. I was then called again and asked if I filled out the form. I then repeat I have questions about the form and if they can clarify what the form is saying, I would like to know who the additional third parties apart from my other providers are and they couldn’t answer my question. This is when out of nowhere Dr. Giles walks out of her office, happens to be 5 minutes to be exact after my scheduled appointment even though her last patient walked out not long ago, and she starts to tell me “You can’t opt out. Either you sign it or you leave and stop wasting my time, it is 11:20am.” Yet, my appointment was scheduled at 11:15am and there was no one in the waiting room. I then respond back asking her for clarification, I do not mind signing the document but I just need clarification as to why I can’t opt out and who is the other parties my information is going to be shared about? It reads in the form I can opt out but you are telling me I can’t? This is where Dr. Giles snaps and says “You can’t opt out. You know what, cancel her appointment and get out!” She tells me and the receptionist. I was in shock. How can a doctor act this way over wanting some clarification? I even try to give her the benefit of the doubt and assumed she was having a bad day or something… the receptionist that was rude from the beginning then looks at me and tells me to get out. The second receptionist, a Hispanic lady, looked so embarrassed and ashamed of the doctor’s action. She felt the need to apologize to me on her behalf which I appreciate but I felt even more horrible for her working in that type of environment. I am sure it hasn’t been the first time she’s witnessed something like that. I then left her office. I will be placing a complaint on Texas Medical board not because of how she treated me but because she endangered my health. I have asthma and needed my inhaler and in order to get my inhaler I need her to place a prescription. I almost went to the ER afterwards due to how I felt after leaving her office. Thankfully, I spoke to my insurance and a nurse via the phone and they were able to help control my symptoms. You have my number. There are cameras in your office which you can pull up the recording of the incident. I would LOVE to hear to what made you react the way you did and why you endangered my health. I hope my experience helps others."

"Worst customer service ever, especially from an office in the medical field. Arrived early, and signed in. Waited to be seen by a doctor. The front desk asked for my insurance card, I let them know I only had a digital card. Previous visit, I had to go next door to get a printed document and part for it. I figured they would keep the info in their system. Well I was asked to go next door to pay and print for another document. I let them know I would not do that. I was more than happy to send them an email with my insurance info on it. They did not like that. They needed a hard copy, as if my insurance had changed. Normally I would let the office know that it had changed. I like to avoid certain issues like that. Once i the doctor heard me say o would not go next door to pay for a hard copy, I let them know that I'd be seeing another doctor. Since when doesn't the front desk employee not reach out to verify my insurance? I would not recommend this office for any medical service."
