Motel 6 Irving, TX - Loop 12

"They put me and my 5 yr old daughter in a room with bed bugs we left immediately. I called back a couple days later to inform of their bed bugs and ask if they had any other clean rooms. The lady working got mad and told me they don't have any bugs and denied me a room."

"It served its purpose but I wish we had shopped around before choosing this place. The room was dirty, especially the floors. Burn holes and stains on the bedding and trash left over from a previous tenant. The air conditioner was loud and obnoxious while trying to sleep. We stayed 3 nights and there was no attempt by staff to do any housekeeping while we were there. We had to request fresh towels and trash bags. The outside trash cans were packed full and stayed that way for most of the time. It was obvious they only do the bare minimum. I will praise them for making the attempt to beautify the front property area with plants and flowers, and the pool looked clean. The front office was locked up tight and all business was done through a window slot. Thus NO coffee was offered at any time. The ice machine was also broken. I would not suggest anyone stay here until much improvements are made."

"Yes, the rooms were relatively clean, but hey hotel/motel rooms are supposed to be anyway, or at least the ones that are worth anything. They did help me out in a pinch when I needed something weekly, but nor before giving me the side eye contemplating whether they were renting to some riff raff. They weren't gonna rent to me at all until they realized that their prejudices almost made them miss out on over $400 for the week ($437.50 was the average cost per week for the 2 weeks that I stayed, you do the math) It was quiet, but that's easy when you weren't allowed to have visitors! I'm just saying, for that kind of money I should have anyone I want to visit! But then again we're talking about motel 6...."

"This motel was awful! The room wasn’t cleaned properly, there was mold in the fridge and on the shower curtain. Cigarette burns in the bedding and hairs/stains on the bedding as well. There were dead roaches in the room and stains on the floor as well. There was also stains on the toilet seat. I wouldn’t recommend that you stay here."

"I like how this location is next to a convenient store and also next to braums. I also like how this location is much more quieter than other locations. The room we had could see a slight improvement though. By improvements, 2 lights weren't working and the toilet moves. However the bed was really comfy and the room also has a microwave and mini fridge and was actually one of the cleanest rooms I had from a motel 6 whereas others were about 90% clean."
