"I did not have a good experience here. The staff can be very competent, but the company's objective is to make money even at the patient's expense. It's egregious. There are many examples but basically, they aren't working together to get the patient well enough to get out of there. Additionally, four times at different stages, I asked for records for the continuation of care once he left, and got nowhere, even telling me I had to fill out a part of a form that was already and correctly filled out. It's a weird place. In the industry, I heard they call it Tombstone. My dad had pulmonary fibrosis, a terrible lung condition, and they put him in a room that was wrought with mold, which I think is chronic in the facility (honestly, I don't know how they can continue to operate it's so bad). It's another problem they're trying to keep under the radar. The communication with the patient's family is terrible unless you push for it."

"i had respiratory failure as i got better i was sent here. i have type 2 diabetes. the nursing care is good. the respiratory staff is good, the Physycal therapy staff is good. the only complaint is there is no diabetic menu. other than that i recommend this place."

"UPDATE My mother was assaulted at this location a year ago today. We chose Cornerstone because they took great care of my grandfather. My mom is around 115 pounds and on dialysis. Because she wouldn’t lay down A very large woman flipped her on her head and slammed her down like a wrestler. This was in front of several members of staff. My mother was at this location for less than 48hrs. When my family arrived we immediately called 911 and EMS. She was hallucinating due to being given an anxiety medication she was allergic to INSTEAD of her pain medication. They knew she was allergic to the medication and didn’t check her chart and gave it to her anyway. She had left the hospital to recover after her heart stopped and for wound care. My mother is only 53 and able to advocate for herself. Staff were extremely rude and gave her horrible food. Police had to step in when staff laughed while wound care staff tried to snatch the machine off her leg. The room was dirty, the bed was also broken and the head of the bed didn’t go up. Dialysis patients Need to be propped up so the fluid don’t run up. This is why my mom would stand and sit up all night. She called me for help because staff wouldn’t respond and the phone didn’t work in the room. She’s very hard of hearing and they did nothing to help communicate with her. Avoid this place. When I reported this to the house supervisor she offered no help. I also spoke with a man over this company and he didn’t help either."

"I was a patient at Cornerstone for a little over two months. As many have noted, the staff make you feel like part of the family, going out of their way to thoroughly and thoughtfully care for you. So many people to shout out from house supervisors Katherine, Susan, Flor, and Lynette, nurses Daniel, Courtney, Stefano, Bianca, Gibson, and Nicole, wound care nurses Hilary and Julia, CNAs Wanda, Bella, and Alfredo, to therapists Jim, Thea, Janell, and Kim, plus many more, including the wonderful housekeeping and food service staff. Additionally, huge thanks to my case manager Jessica and the great team of nurse practitioners who advocated for me with my insurance to get me into the next level of care I needed to get back to my life. The facility is clean, the food is excellent, and the staff are top notch. I wouldn’t be as far along in my recovery without the people of Cornerstone, and I unreservedly recommend it to all in need."

"My partner who has stage 4 cancer stayed at this Austin location for several weeks to receive IV antibiotics. Due to his condition, he has been in and out of hospitals for the past 2 years. He says that Cornerstone is one of the friendliest and most organized facilities. The staff was compassionate towards his unique needs."
