"I have been seeing Dr. Gotvald for about 5 years. He has done a couple of surgical procedures on me and the results have been very good. I continue to see him and his staff for followup ultrasound and Doppler tests and have always had the utmost professional care and treatment."

"I'm experienced with medical procedures and dealing with insurance companies and providers. We think the procedures were appropriate, completed competently and without complications. In that regard we recommend Dr. Gotvald. On the other hand, what we were originally quoted for the procedures was grossly under what we were billed. Then it took 6 months to get things straightened out and once it was done I was not confident that it was correct in what they charged our insurance company or what they charged us. Their accounting procedures are so illogical that I wonder if they're ethical. I was willing to accept the result, even if we were slightly overcharged, so that we could be done with them after so many months of negotiations. I'm not sure the office staff is doing the right thing. We wished we would have taken our second choice since they provided a written quote for the procedures and were rated/recommended equally. Gotvald initially was slightly cheaper until billing time. Without a quote there's no way to argue with them."

"Dr. Gotvald is simply awesome. He was quick in getting me in, took the time to explain what's going on with me and what my options are. He also gave me a ball park idea of the costs involved without a run around with the billing professional. Overall he spent a lot of time with me and patiently explained everything. He has A+ bedside manner. I didn't interact much with his staff, but they seemed nice and efficient enough. Note the change in his office's address. P.S. why not give him Excellent? If the prices were a bit more affordable, I'd be delighted to change my review to "Excellent""
