"I had to get a chest X-Ray per my doctor's request. I was able to make an appointment at ARA online and choose one of their many locations with time and dates available. Upon arrival at ARA (Quarry Lake) the check-in process was smooth and wait time was minimal. The technicians were polite and professional, explaining each step of the process while the procedure was done. Very good experience for me."

He explained the process of the procedure thoroughly. The Rad tech (I can’t remember his name ) was very professional . "I had a HSG done here today which is a common fertility test that women go through. I was extremely nervous. And while the procedure definitely wasn't fun. ARA made the process as comfortable as it could be. Clean facilities. Nice area to get dressed in. My tech walked me through everything she was doing, informing me what I could feel as she was going through the procedure. Much appreciated and recommend."

"BEWARE the fraudulent and unethical billing practices of this organization! I was referred to ARA by my chiropractor for baseline spinal x-rays. I called to make an appointment and confirmed that ARA was in network for my insurance provider. I arrived for my appointment and was waited on by a woefully under-trained and incompetent employee. He took my physician's order and billed for a plethora of x-rays that totaled $573. He also billed me for not only the $75 co-pay that I expected but also for an additional 40% of the total because he claimed that ARA was not in network for my insurance provider. I advised him that I confirmed that ARA was in network when I made the appointment and on my insurance provider's website. I was unable to proceed with my appointment unless I paid for this substantial overcharge. I later met with the x-ray tech who looked at all of the x-rays that were ordered; she stated that this was incorrect and I only needed $223 of x-rays. She said that I would be refunded the difference; this never happened. I received my explanation of benefits about two weeks after my appointment. It confirmed that ARA was in network and I only should have been charged my $75 co-pay. I later received another bill from ARA for the balance that wasn't completely paid by insurance; balance billing is not permissible because ARA is in network for my insurance provider. I have since called ARA multiple times and have only received excuses as to why I haven't been refunded the substantial overcharge that occurred at my appointment. It's unfortunate that my only in network provider for radiology services has completely fraudulent and unethical billing practices. ARA customer service is incompetent and incapable of resolving issues."
