ARA Diagnostic Imaging - Southwood

"Overall, I was very satisfied with my service here. When scheduling with ARA, they accidentally scheduled me in a 1.5T machine, when I needed a 3T machine. This was frustrating as it pushed back my appointment by two weeks. However, the staff in person were very friendly and professional. I felt nervous as I had not done and MRI before and also had lots of questions. The staff were helpful with both my nerves and my questions. I would definitely recommend this location."

"The woman who did my mammogram rushed very much. Didn’t care whatsoever. Quick two images for each breast without making sure images are good enough for the radiologist to read it. This is the first time I was rushed that much during mammogram, she took about 5-7 minutes only. No additional images in case those two weren’t good enough to read. I definitely not coming back here. This place only care about volume of patients to get more money. They don’t care about quality at all. She asked for my symptoms. For both symptoms her quick answer was: Everybody has that! Wow. On top of all that, my mammogram was interpreted by a computer! Not a radiologist. This company save all the money to gained their profits and patients get no quality healthcare. I recommend to go to the actual hospital to do such testing where they actually care and where radiologist can read it right there."

"I am embarrassed to admit how anxious I was about having a MRI (with and without contrast) this evening. Well, lucky me that I was scheduled for the Ben White location! The alchemy of the team here is fantastic. Cait at the front desk was incredibly kind and welcoming. And then Rochelle, the EMT instantly erased all my worries as she verbally walked me through what I should expect from start to finish. I don’t think I even looked that nervous but she must have good instincts! She is very warm and friendly. Barely even noticed her put the IV in my arm! And then, Angie, the MRI tech was very professional and the whole experience was just five star. I can tell ARA has a really solid team at this location. I am relieved to have it behind me and for the wonderful team that supported the entire process. Great job, ARA on Ben White!"

"I had my annual mammogram at ARA Southwood today. I had completed most of the paperwork online before my appointment and I appreciate that option! My encounter with the front desk was quick and courteous. I had a few additional items to complete and sign that took me about 5 minutes. I was taken back to the waiting area for about 5 minutes. The technician that did my mammogram was very thorough in explaining what she was doing and gently made sure everything was situated perfectly so she got the “screen shot” on the first try. Pamela, the technician was wonderful as she treated me with respect and compassion. I have had all but one of my 20+ years of mammograms done at ARA Southwood. I will continue to do so in the years to come!"
