"Came here to do an investigation and to see this cool piece of history :) innkeeper was super nice and the hotel was clean and beautiful! Stayed in Miss Josie’s room and caught great evidence! We hope to come back"

"I’ve stayed here twice - in the Railroader & Miss. Josey. We love it!! We’ve experienced no paranormal activity or odd feelings. The noise from the bars can be loud, but it should be expected being that there are bars in every direction, including the basement. It’s never bothered us though. "

"Great experience ! Gonna go back! Like stepping back in time. Someone rattled the glasses for me when i walked by the kitchen at 3am. Wife had a peaceful visit slept like a baby. Want to go back when there is less traffic outside. The perfect location if you want to experience the old Ft. Worth . Right in the middle of historic Hells Half Acre!!"

"It was nice, clean, close to where I was in the stockyards and the inn keeper was super nice. I am a local along with my best friend. We both had herd stories for years about how haunted it was, so I guess it was a badge of courage to stay here. I've heard of people getting the living daylights scared out of them, packing up, and walking out. Anyway, nothing happened at all. Not a peep, no one tugged on the sheets, stuff didn't go flying, and nothing in my room moved. All these stories were debunked in my mind. For us comfort wasn't a priority that's forsure. The beds are small and springy. The only private bath is Miss Josie's room which has a bathroom with a false wall, so if you share it's like having an open bathroom. Either way it was an experience, and being local kind of a badge of honor. It was fun."
